Your kindness
glows upon my world
pulling me in
forever surreal
When you give your love
my foundation shifts
like a gentle quake
I tumble in
Tenderly
You stir my soul
as a whirlwind
out of control
With you
I travel
the road to bliss
My heart’s content
A love so real

Though many miles lie between
You’re as close to me as my breath
Feeling your warmth upon my face
Your touch I won’t forget
Longing days turn into ebony
Thoughts of you consume my mind
With open arms, I step inside
No truer love I’ll ever find

Flowers bloom
Bees buzz
Red bellied robins sing
just because
Crickets chirp
Frogs croak
Butterflies gracefully float
around the majestic oak
Wind blows
Trees sway
Ladybugs save the gardens
hunting their prey
Earth moves
Ocean splashes
Thunder loudly rumbles
while lightning flashes
Nature entertains
Abundantly each day
Life’s colors and compositions
God’s gifts we praise

It’s here
It’s finally arrived
We’re breathing, we’re alive
So make the day great
Don’t wait
Don’t waste a God given moment
to share a smile
Make this day worthwhile
Enjoy nature’s beauty
If you have the chance
Grab a hand and do a
Happy dance
Be friendly
Be generous
Be charming
You’ll feel stupendous
It won’t be alarming
Look forward to
the coming
days of leisure
Do whatever may be
your favorite pleasure
Don’t think
Don’t ponder
So much is waiting
over yonder
Here’s a wish for a Friday
that’s Grand
A blessing from me,
that’s firsthand
If you do this
then I will proclaim
to do the very same!
🙂

Clouds roll in
Cold front imminent
Strong winds concurrent
Common sense confirms predictability
Preparation is a necessity
Still, accepting what is inevitable
doesn’t occur naturally~

I’m wishing my Husband a wonderful Birthday today
and many more years of happiness with
the kids and I.
Below, is one of my favorites I wrote for him last December~
Can you believe we’re “you and I?”
I’m still amazed that you’re my guy
How you fell in love with me
and how we came to be
I’ll never know just what I said
what I did to make you trip
I’m just glad I caught you then,
Do you remember when…
We danced all night and closed the doors
You held me tight and I was yours
The music stopped; our hearts kept beat
The tempo followed our graceful feet
You gently swept me off the floor
and I kept going back for more
Your loving whispers melted me
Our kiss good night lifted me
to a place I never thought I’d find
I’m finally where I want to be…
A lovely view
from the divine cloud nine

Distance has made its way
weaving through our paths
Yet I’ve been near everyday
though, with my heart in a cast
Past words have been lethal
leaving souls in broken bits
but I think of you daily
It’s your spell I truly miss
You ask these things of me
with plain uncertainty
Yet I sense you still have feelings
even as you tread carefully
You have never left my heart
It is there you have remained
I hold this place for you
To your love I am chained
Ask anything, My Darling,
Anything, at all,
I’m yours ‘till eternity
With you and only you,
I will fall

May we hold close those in our lives
Who touch our hearts
Our husbands, our wives,
Our girlfriends and boyfriends
Our daughters, our sons
and our very best friends
Our sisters and brothers
Our fathers and mothers
Even the furry companions
Who add joy to our days
To those who have passed
We give God praise
for the love they gave
To anyone unmentioned
in this Valentine greeting
We give thanks for your love
For your presence and hugs
Let the Valentine banner be unfurled
And if we could, we’d give them the world

I will be slowly responding to your wonderful,
supportive comments, and then I’ll get
back into the blogging routine…
I wish you all a loving Valentine’s Day♥
