    1. Thanks, Sue, and it’s great to have you back. Yes, Copper is the king in our household (or he thinks he is). 🙂 Love and hugs to you, too! 💗

      1. Sending love and well wishes Lauren.. Forgive the huge delay, As I have not been in the blogging world. I needed to nurture my own health … So I am gradually interacting here again as i moderate my comments which have been pending some time… Love and well wishes dear friend ❤

  1. Hi Lauren,
It’s been a very long time! I hope you and your family are well! I hope the covid situation hasn’t affected you all to much. We have been pretty safe up in Australia but things are heating up here and the covid cases are going up. I thought I came across you in a literary journal I regularly read and have contributed to. I got really excited and came on here in the first time in years to see if it actually was you and it wasn’t. I am not disappointed though just excited to see your still around, still writing and still being you! Sending much love to you and I will be sure to pop in a bit more regularly!

    1. Hi Bianca, it’s SO good to see you! My family has been lucky through Covid, staying healthy and still working in our current jobs. I’m sorry to hear cases are rising in Australia. That’s scary, to say the least. Ahh, I wish I had been that person in your literary journal! 🙂 But I haven’t submitted any writing. Instead, I’m working on my 3rd book of memoirs in poetry and short stories. I thought it would be out sooner, but hopefully, in the next month or so. Anyway, thank you so much for popping in and I hope you’ll stay in touch. Take good care and stay well, too. Sending love back to you! 💕💕

    1. Thanks, Pam! I know you’re a dog lover, too. Our furry family members not only provide a bundle of love, they provide inspiration for haiku. 🙂

      1. I’m reading a sweet book that another dog lover sent me called “Things My Dog Has Taught Me (about being a better human being)” by Jonathan Wittenberg. It’s excellent.

      2. It sounds like a wonderful book and one I’d enjoy. My son gave me a book called, “I Could Chew on This” by Francesco Margiuliano. It’s a book of poems written by dogs. 😉 It’s adorable and I’m sure you’d love it. Happy Friday! 🎉

      1. I get it. We’re in a drought now, but in the past where rain falls frequently, the weeds grow like crazy. It’s hard to keep up with them. Have a good Monday!

    1. Haha! He’s a big, lovable baby, Ian, but he is protective of his humans. So when he hears a knock at the door, his bark rattles the roof. 🙂 Thank you!
