Random Haiku :)

no thoughts come to mind

my brain is resting, wake up

my pen is antsy

I’d love to know your

favorite genre when you

spend time in my world

apparently, I’ve

been bitten by the flu bug,

still not feeling well

life doesn’t slow down

when ill feelings visit us

my head is spinning

  1. My favorite is the first one as I can relate to the feeling 🙂 I’m surprised I’m not down with a flu with the crazy weather here. Warm, cold, warm, cold.
I hope you feel better soon Lauren. You’re always in my prayers

    1. Thanks, Scott, and just stay well; this isn’t fun and I miss my normal routine! I’m still “down” but hopefully, will feel much better next week! Thanks for your prayers, too, they are always appreciated, my friend…
And I’m glad you could relate to the first haiku, too, that seems to be popular! 🙂

  2. Caddo Veil

I’ve been fretting about you, Lauren–will pray more fervently for a quick healing. Don’t try to do too much–just rest, and we’ll see you soon. God bless you–love, sis Caddo

    1. Thanks, Caddo, and sadly to say I’m still miserable, but no fever, which is good…I’m trying to rest as much as I can, but that’s not always possible…I’m also behind on reading blogs now, which is troubling, as always. Well, you stay well, Sis, and I’ll be over your way soon!

    1. Thanks, Gabby, I broke the fever, but still feel weak and coughing, miserable, but I know the light will shine soon, hopefully. The first haiku is favorite for most and have you been sick with the flu, too? I hope not…I’d love to receive an email from you, just hearing how you and your twinnie are doing when you have time, but no pressure. I’ve just been thinking about you both! Hugs back to you…xoxo

    1. Thanks for your well wishes, Wendell, sadly, I’m still sick, but hopefully, will feel better next week. I’m sorry to have fallen behind on reading your poetry, which doesn’t make me feel better. I’ll try to read some today, brother, and hope you and your family stay well, too! xx
Thanks for your haiku complement, too, these were just for fun, but glad you enjoyed them…

    1. Thanks for your feedback, Sheila, and #1 is the winner, so far. I’m glad you’re feeling better now..I’m still miserable, but no fever, just missing my normal routine and walking Copper! 🙂 Hugs!

    1. Yes, I have, and sorry to hear you’re sick, too, Eric…I’m still miserable, but no fever, but let’s wish for a quick recovery for the both of us…I miss my normal routine that many of us probably take for granted… Take care and feel better! 🙂

I appreciate your thoughts!
