Those bedroom eyes…
It’s in the stare
before the leaning
A little heavy breathing
Mesmerizing to the core
Sweet, in slow motion
An electric pull
Tingles stirring
to curling toes
Body heat rising
in a warm embrace
Roaming hands
Wildfires spreading
Melting beyond reason
Head spinning
Global tilting
Magically unforgettable
Blissfully memorable
Sinfully intoxicating
Simply delicious
When lips unite~

Ah, this one really fit my “mood” as of late. Which, in its turn, prove that this poem is timeless and thus, proves you are quite the writer Lauren! 🙂
Alex, your comment lifted my slightly blue mood, which is maybe the reason for this repost, so thank you! Defining this poem as timeless truly made my day! 🙂
Such an exquisite creation Lauren

Thanks so much, Soma, for your lovely comment! Hugs to you, too! 🙂
Some poems are really worth to be read more than once and this one from you for sure is one of these poems.
Ciao, Francina xxx
Awww…thanks, Francina, your complement means a lot to me! xxx 🙂
This is such a beautiful poem, deserving of a repost! I still love it!
Hugs xx
Thanks, Deb, I’m thrilled you still like it! Hugs to you, too! xxx
Sensuous! Yum! 🙂
🙂 🙂
Still love this one!
Thanks so much, Eve! 🙂
I enjoyed this post back in December and tingled a bit reading it here again today. We gals need these little “pick-me-ups” from time to time, don’t we?
Yes, we do, and I’m glad you “tingled” again, Rose! 🙂 Thank you!
yep! this granny felt the tingle too. 🙂
That was just what the doctor ordered! LOL
Glad you liked it! lol 🙂 Thank you!
“An electric pull” Now I have felt that and understand. Unfortunately it was a few decades ago. OK. So it was more than a “few” decades.
🙂
Well, I hope you feel this electric pull soon! 🙂
yes, the electricity definitely pulled after reading this beautiful poem. Pretty powerful because I remember the “effect” in December!
I’m glad the effect was still strong, Linda! Thanks so much! xx
Love it all over again!
Thanks, Caddo, glad the effect is still there!
I enjoyed this again, Lauren – so sensual!
I’m glad you did, thanks, again, Betty! 🙂
Beautiful Lauren – this one still ‘sizzles’ and I feel 20 years younger…!
Thanks so much, David, I’m glad the “sizzle” effect is still strong and to feel 20 years younger, well, that’s the best complement! 🙂
Certainly a very stimulating scenario you have painted in those words
Enjoyed the reading
Aussie Ian
Thanks, Ian, I’m glad you enjoyed! 🙂
I love this one Lauren! Loving and sensuous–pure delight and spice to life 🙂
Thanks so much, Jeannie, I’m glad the spice is still in it! 🙂
loved it.. 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙂
:-O Lauren…. sorry, but I just don’t like romantic poetry.
Haha! Kidding and you know it. I love this poem. Very sensual and written in a way that can be felt and remembered by those that have lived it. We are so blessed with our life partners in so many ways and the passionate moments are definite treasures we are blessed to continue repeating. Have a great weekend!
I knew you didn’t, Scott, so I didn’t expect you to stop by! Hee,hee! 🙂 Okay, thank you, and I’m glad the effect is still there! And yes, we are very lucky and blessed with our partners! Have a great weekend, too!
I read your words and I am swooning with delight. Eloquent words to a lover. Wonderful images brought to mind. Bravo. Virginia
Thank you so much, Virginia, for your visit and for your beautiful complement. I appreciate it very much!
awesome piece, i love every bit of it.
your style is so simple yet so charming 🙂
Thank you so much! I appreciate your visit! 🙂
Excellent description. I’m not sure sinful is part of the description of such an intimate and fulfilling act though. To me its a heaven blessed experience. LOL. The exploitation of one of the parties however would be a different matter.
Thanks, Ian, and I agree with you, but “sinfully” is used simply in a light hearted manner, as in “sinfully delicious,” not too literally~ 🙂 Thanks for reading; I appreciate you taking the time!
Delicious! Absolutely. LOL
Intoxicating indeed Lauren Sinfully intoxicating to read. Virginia
Thanks, again, Virginia, I’m glad you thought so! 🙂 Enjoy your weekend!
Hmmm.. when the lips unite, everything just goes away. Beautiful, romantic, deep and really desirous.
I love this one Lauren. Lovely expression
Aww…thanks, Eve, I thought you would after seeing your comment on my quote! There’s just something about a kiss! Thanks for taking the time to read and I’m glad you enjoyed, too! xxx
