These were written for fun, but, honestly,
holiday travel can be a bit daunting,
even though we love road trips!
Hope you enjoy! 🙂
Driving or flying?
Benefit of tailgating?
Reckless road traveled

very cool! sounds like you had a fun road trip!!
Thanks, Elle, yes, it was fun, but we couldn’t believe the crazy drivers on the road! 🙂
I love a road trip. I can tell you had some fun too.
Love the way you wrote that.
Hugs, Deb xx
Thanks so much, Deb, we love road trips and our kids still do, even with being older. It was a fun one, even with the crazy drivers! 🙂 Hugs to you, too! xx
I like it, so glad to see a new post by you and to hear from you as well. I’m glad you enjoyed your family and made it back safely. God Bless 🙂
Thanks so much, PJ, yes, we had a great time with my family and it was good being all together~Happy to be back, too! Blessings to you, my friend~
Love these!! Especially the middle one, ecogeek that I am haha
The last one was also very good, you have a way with words!
Thanks so much, Andrea, you are really too kind, but your encouraging words are very much appreciated! 🙂
I usually choose to fly.
Well, I have to admit my slight fear of flying keeps me on the road, but I’ll fly if I have to! 🙂
Definitely need more innovation to help Mother Earth in 2012! The “red eyes watching” is my favorite part–I am chuckling over all the ramifications popping into my “littly” brain over reading that line! Thanks once again for your wonderfully ethical and compassionate and fun-loving “take” on hectic stuff in our lives!
Thanks, Rose, I’m glad you enjoyed these just for fun; while driving, the thoughts came into my mind and I’m surprised I remembered them, as I couldn’t write them down going 70 miles an hour or so! 🙂
Love your haikus! Very imaginative. I played with haiku for a time, when I got bored with my usual style of writing – maybe I’ll have to play with it again –
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words and I find writing haiku fun and challenging. I really enjoy them! I encourage you to start playing again! 🙂
