FINDING INNER STRENGTH

It’s finally time to SHOUT
“Enough is Enough”
To dust off shields of armor
and flip the switch to “tough”

With every step in each new day
it’s too easy to fret and worry
Wasting a God given moment
instead of cheering in His glory

Toss those words and thoughts
that surely weigh us down
A lighter load will bring us smiles
and erase those dreadful frowns

So, arm in arm, let’s move forward
for strength in perseverance
Do not relent to downward slips
Ignore the interference!

Hello Monday! :)

There is no poem for today,
but for the lack of a poem,
I though I’d share these beautiful flowers
my hubby and I bought at a local
farmer’s market this weekend.

I just love fresh flowers in the house.
The colors brighten the room and lift spirits
and remind us of God’s love through
nature’s beauty that we have
an abundance of…

Wishes for a Magnificent Monday! ♥♥♥

Smile, TGIF! :) :)

Another week of productivity

has sifted through our fingers

A feeling of accomplishment

pleasantly lingers

Now it’s time for our inner-child

to surface, once again

Time for play and relaxation

with our family and our friends!

Enjoy! It’s the weekend! 🙂

You’re Not Alone

When your sky is dismal and you’re feeling low
unlock the doors to your soul
and allow love to flow
Lean on a shoulder from someone who cares
as they hold you in their daily prayers
Open your mind to new hope in your heart
picking up pieces that once fell apart
Find strength in His Love and
allow your eyes to see the Light above
Let His embrace warm your inner core
Let your path be brightened
so darkness lingers no more

Endurance

We race with the hands
of the clock on the wall

usually in last place

like a slow, dragging crawl

 Everything must be now
instant gratification

when we should slow down

and feel appreciation

 Maybe what we’re waiting for
isn’t meant to be

It’s all in the timing

and not all about “we”

 If you’re a believer
it’s really up to Him

and what His plan entails

not just our personal whim

So exhale a little slower
demonstrate some tolerance

It’ll all come together

with just a bit of patience

Photo is of Copper on our recent hike.
He was so patient, waiting for me
to take some pictures~

Fever vs. Muse (Sequel to “Fever”)

Sometimes inspiration pours

like water from a hose

full force, abundant supply

Then there are times

when the paper is stark white

and the inkwell is bone dry

I’ve been panicky and wondering

how long this drought will last

and when it departs

will it stay in the past?

Of course, there’s no way to tell

or would I hear chiming bells?

Well, one thing is for sure

Hot flashes cook brain cells!

This was inspired
by my wonderful blogging sis, Deb,

as she fed me the closing line. (Thanks, Deb)
Ladies, I hope you enjoy

and Men…   🙂

This is inspired by Soma,
http://somkritya.wordpress.com.
She gives wonderful “word hugs” and
receives many herself
because of her giving soul, big heart
and constant smiles~
Hugs are the only gifts
we don’t mind returning,
so thank you, Soma~xx
