1. Singing was my passion when I was younger and my dream was to sing professionally.

2. I love the outdoors; enjoying nature, hiking and camping.

3. I love to write, which is now my creative outlet, but have never had any formal training. Maybe in the future? Until then, I’m writing and reading as much as I can and always learning.

4. Walking is my main form of exercise.

5. I still miss my beloved dog, Lucky Girl.

6. I love to bake and look forward to making all the Christmas goodies this year (soon, actually).

7. I’m not afraid to act goofy and I laugh at my own jokes! 🙂

She made humble resolution
when she found out the news
tears leisurely rolled down her face

How must one feel
when they hear those words…
accept them with heavenly grace?

In one way, she acknowledged
by speaking to God with an open heart
knowing her life was not a waste

Yet, not ready to give up the fight
and passionately shaking her head
she was prepared for this unthinkable race

She trusted God, but, was faintly bemused
(Believing His way was the right way)
not yet, was she parting for a higher place

So with infinite love from her family
With incredible support from her friends
She fought with a smile and embrace

Though, after some time of following rules
and playing this game with tenacity
her body tired and couldn’t sustain the pace

Thus, saying farewell to her loved ones
She was given angel’s wings
for her new life of eternal happiness

Another door opens…

I thank You for every day

Each day is a new breath taken

If, at times, my voice is not heard

Please don’t feel forsaken

You are not forgotten

You’re in my daily prayers

Moments I should lean on You

The One who resides upstairs

It’s effortless in this “busy-ness”

To become extremely diverted

To pointless things needing my focus

And leaving You deserted

Still, I thank You for guiding me,

Shining light on my journey’s way

And while I may question the path

From You I will never stray
