Spillwords Press publishes “Toots and Circles”!!!

Dear Friends,

Spillwords Press has published my second poem today , “Toots and Circles” and I am honored to have my writing featured on their site again!

This poem evolved one morning when a friend in nature woke us up with its morning greeting just before our alarm sounded off…

Toots and Circles

Perhaps he was a Western Screech Owl
that I heard outside our bedroom window
in the early darkness before the sun
fashioned its glorious arrival.
I cannot say with conviction,
but it is certain he proclaimed his presence
with his high-pitched toots.

But what I really want to know…

You can read the entire poem here

And I”ll be grateful if you head over to Spillwords and click on the heart to “like” the poem. 😁 I’d even do a happy dance if you’d leave a comment, but of course, you’ll need to create an account and log in. I won’t ask you to do this since we are all inundated with user names and passwords. One can hope though!
Please know your time and support is greatly appreciated if you choose one of these options.❤️

Thank you again to Dagmara K. and her team for accepting my submission. I am thrilled to the moon and truly gratified!

I hope you enjoyed my poem, and I wish you many miracles in nature! ❤️

      1. Soon after I posted this, our internet went down because of an outage. So I couldn’t respond, and then I had to go to work. Ahh! Anyway, it’s working and I’m home. Yay! And you are awesome! ❤️🎉🌷❤️🎉🌷🙏🏻🙏🏻

  1. This is gorgeous and such GREAT news Lauren! Congratulations my friend!!!
I’m heading over now to respond to a client and will head to see you as well! ❣️💐👏🌹
    Sooo excited for you! ❣️

  2. Now you know how much I would love this poem Lauren… of course you did…. Being as I am a friend of Dreamwalker. and my own feathers are all fluffed up with pride, as I say Well Done, and a lovely poem and achievement Lauren.. I flew over and pressed the little heart which now reads 48… Heartfelt likes… Sorry I cannot log in… As Dreamwalker only let me fly over to say congratulations.. And says to pass on her love and Best wishes… As she is very busy this week getting her nails dirty in the earth… And is having a rest most of the time from the internet… But she spotted your news and got me to flex my wings and fly over..
    Lots of LOVE Lauren… Whoooo… Ooooooh….. to yooooou… Cyril… 💖 🦉🦉🦉💖

    1. Aww, Cyril, I am SO happy you flexed your wings and flew over here to leave such a thoughtful and kind comment. Of course, I know you’d relate to this poem. I just love owls! And I appreciate your good wishes and for joining in the excitement! I know how busy Sue is, and her gorgeous garden is proof of her loving labor to Mother Earth. Please tell her to enjoy the rest and time spent getting her nails dirty, and thank her for letting you fly over here, not to mention flying over to Spillwords to ‘heart’ my poem. I am still over the moon and grateful for all the love and support. Lots of love to you both! ❤️🦉🎉🤗😁

      1. Yes absolutely Lauren all of a sudden i am not seeing my friends and wondering what happened. It’s nice to be friends and commenting on their blogs. We can keep in touch like this. Thanks a lot 🙏🏻😊🙏🏻😊
