To welcome winter’s stunning coat,
Autumn sheds its golden layers
Gorgeous hues evoke emotions
Enticing with their pleasing flavors

Excellent, Lauren
Thanks so much, John! Before raking up the leaves, I became inspired. 🙂
Ha ha ha. Was fun.
This made me think of someone eating fall leaves.
Hmm…must’ve been those enticing flavors. 🙂
Wonderful words, beautiful pictures.
Thanks, Shian! As I told John, before I began raking, I became inspired. There’s gotta be a bright side to their abundance, right? 🙂
Absolutely! 🤗
The image of winter’s coat is lovely!
Thanks, Christy! Hope you’re doing well! 💝
Beautiful words Lauren
Descriptive in imagery.
Thanks, Ian! I was about to begin raking the millions of leaves when I thought of a blog post. Inspiration comes from all places. 🙂 I do love their colors though – a golden blanket over the grass…
Oh! Leaves from a Ginko tree! Love these! 😄
Thanks, Sarah! We love them, too, but cleaning them up is another thing. I’ve told others this, but I became inspired just before raking them up. 🙂 I hope your mom is doing better…💗💗
I´ve heard that the nuts of Ginko trees don´t smell that good…is that true?
My mum has had her pain medication adjusted this week and I think she can handle the pain a bit better now. Thank you for thinking of her! Much love! ❤ xxx
They’re actually seed pods, Sarah, and they only smell bad if you crush them. So, we don’t crush them. 🙂 I’m so glad your mom is able to handle the pain better. I know it’s tough on you, too, because we don’t want to see a loved one suffer in any manner. I continue to wish her a smooth recovery…love and hugs to you xoxo
Ahh! Thanks, Lauren! Love learning new things! 😄
And thank you too for your good wishes! 😚 xoxo 💖
You’re welcome, and me, too. I had to ask my husband! lol He’s the tree expert. 🙂 😀😘
Always good to have one of those around 😉😘
Delightful poem images, Lauren – and I too love that photo of the multi colored Ginko leaves. They look crunchy! 😄
Hope you’re having a good week. 😁💕
Thanks, Betty, and yes, they’re crunchy, too. I think I wrote something along that line years ago. I love their colors but not their abundance. 🙂 My week is going well, and only a few days left before I’m on Christmas vacation. So, that’s something to look forward to. Hope yours has been good, also! Hugs 🎄🎆🎅🤶💝
Glad you have vacation coming up for the holidays! Oh, Christmas emojis! I shall look for some. 🎄🎁🎍🎊🎅 Cool! 😃
Yes, and I can’t wait. It’s the first year I’m just about done with shopping, too. 🙂 I know, those emojis are fun, but I have more options on my cell than on my laptop. And it’s my laptop that I use more for WP. Oh well. I will survive! 😀
Yes, it IS nice to be ahead of schedule! Enjoy your time. 😁 We’re done with cards and shopping too – just working on decorations. Very relaxed for a change.
This is just stunning, incredible, elegance!!
Thank you, Mihran! I’m so glad you enjoyed this! Have a wonderful day, my friend…
Fall in the Northeast is a stunning time of the year.
I have yet to visit, Ian, so I can only imagine the beauty. 🙂
There is much to look forward to as fall turns to winter. Lovely post!:)
So true, and thanks so much for your lovely comment!
Beautiful picture and equally amazing words
Thank you very much!! ❤️
You’ve strung together a pearl necklace of beautifully apt words.
What a beautiful thing to say, Eric. Thank you, and have a wonderful start to your week!
Autumn can be so inspiring. 🙂
Yes, it can be. Hope you’re doing okay, Ben…
Not so bad, thank you. 🙂
