    1. Post a photo, Ben! 🙂 My sisters and I learned from Mom, and so we continue the tradition each year to make her proud. She passed away five years ago, and now Dad is with her…
Some of her recipes I don’t have patience for though, but I’m going to try this year. 🙂 🎅🤶🎄🍰

    1. Thanks, Betty! Are you a baker? My mom taught my sisters and me, so the three of us carry on her tradition. There is one recipe I have yet to try, though. It’s more complicated, but I plan to make it this year. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and are doing okay, too. Hugs 💓🎄🎅🎼

      1. Oh yes, my mom taught me to bake – cookies, bread, cakes, pies. My Norwegian grandma taught me how to bake Jule Kake (Christmas cake) every December. Can’t do much baking anymore because of pain issues. But I do love eating it. 😋 (Mmmm, chocolate chip cookies!)
It’s great you too have such traditions to pass down. Let me know how the new recipe turns out!
Enjoy your holiday week, Lauren – hugs back! 🎄🍥💖🎅🍰😆

      2. Your traditions sound wonderful, too, Betty, and the Jule Kake sounds delicious! It’s too bad you aren’t able to bake now, but at least you have those memories (and you can still eat the goodies). 🙂 I’ll let you know how the Christmas Stollen comes out, also. Enjoy your week, too! xoxoxo

  1. These look yummy, Lauren…thank you for sharing! I hear you on the literal like button…I’d be sharing homemade Swedish pepperkakor!! 😀😀 Wishing you a Christmas filled with joy and love. Hugs xxx❤️🎄

    1. Thanks, Annika, and you’re welcome! 🙂 And, Oh, I’d like some Swedish pepperkakor! I’ve never had them, but I know I’d love them. I just finished making butterballs, and last night, I made homemade gingerbread (my mother-in-law’s recipe). She’s smiling from Heaven. As I told Betty, I’m going to make Christmas Stollen (my mom’s recipe), and she’ll be smiling from Heaven, too. Anyway, wishing you the same Cheers to Christmas baking! Hugs, too! 💝🤶🎅🎄🍰

  2. I make a lot of cookies at Christmas. Tomorrow I will be decorating Oreos and Nutter-Butter cookies with my 4-year-old granddaughter. We are going to make the Nutter-Butter cookies look like Santas.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Lauren. Love and hugs.

    1. Today must be the big cookie day with your granddaughter, Michelle! That sounds fun and yummy, too, so I hope you’re having a great time, making more special memories. Christmas is only a few days away, so I wish you a joyous time with your family. Love and hugs back! 💝💝

I appreciate your thoughts!
