Dear Friends, how are you? I hope life has been good to you!
I’ve had a relaxing break, accomplished some tasks on a to-do list, and have enjoyed time away from the computer. I confess to have returned to Facebook earlier than blogland, simply because I haven’t been writing. I think my muse started her holiday vacation early and I just hope she comes back soon!
I couldn’t wait to return until after the holidays, as I’ve missed you all, but it’ll be a slow process. I don’t even have a poem for this post, but rather a photo of what I’m beginning to do for this time of year!
Take one if you’d like. 🙂
And so I need to start traveling around the land of blogs now, but I leave you with a holiday quote:
“Christmas isn’t so much about opening presents, but about opening our hearts.”
Sending you all virtual hugs and wishing you much Love, Peace and Happiness throughout this holiday season.
See you soon! Lauren ♥
Welcome back, dear Lauren! Great to hear you’re doing well. 🙂 Hope to read your work again soon but for now let the Muse rest some more and enjoy the holidays! ^^ Lots of love! Xx Iris
Thanks so much, Iris, and I have no option with Mrs. Muse, I think! 🙂 Hope all is well with you and enjoy the holidays, too! Love and hugs! xo
I’m doing great too… ^^ Xx

Thank you Lauren; life has been good (however, don’t ask my family and friends, as they may be keeping a list of my complaints). Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and the best for the New Year.

Is this another batch? Or the same one from FB? Still look yummy. I brought some sugar cookie and chocolate chips from Pillsbury. Shhhh! I know it’s cheating but the kids will love them any way. 🙂
It’s the same batch! lol Thanks, Kim! I give away as gifts and made some for a couple of parties…and I won’t tell anyone about your cookies. Yes, the kids will love them, especially, with added love from the baker! 🙂
😉
My sister makes holiday cookies too.
Great to see you Lauren! And those biscuits look yummy, but you know that already! 😄 😊 xxx
Thanks, Chris, it’s good to be back! And I’m glad you like these cookies and yes, I know too well that they’re yummy! I think I should start a delivery business! 😀 ♥ xoxo

Thanks so much, Geo, and you’re welcome! I loved it, too! I hope all is well with you…
I was delighted to see you appear again in my reader. It was like passing a friends house and seeing her car at home.
Hope all are well and you are enjoying the lead up to Christmas.
Aww, thanks, Tric, that was a real sweet analogy! Life is good after a nice break and now we’re gearing up for Santa! 🙂 I hope you’re doing well, too! xx
Sending you a BIG ((HUG)) in return Lauren and I hope you don’t eat all of those delicious cookies all at once.. 🙂 Glad you returned early .. 🙂
Thanks for the hug, Sue! They’re always welcome! 😉 No, I didn’t eat them all by myself; others helped! I also baked for a couple of parties and gifts, as well! More baking to come, but I’m not as in the mood this year.
My daughter will help me on Saturday when she is home for Christmas so that’ll be fun…It’s good to be back and how are you? Still enjoying your retirement, I’m sure?? Big hugs back and wishing you a blessed holiday season..
Yes Lauren, still enjoying my retirement, although I confess I am busier than ever.. It will be good to bake with your Daughter.. 🙂 And I was in the baking mood myself yesterday, I made loads of cup cakes..:-) but they will soon do the disappearing act too.. 🙂
Enjoy your Family Time at Christmas… and special Hugs to you too xxxx (( Hugs)) ❤

Good to see you back Lauren.
Christmas day is now late afternoon here, and I cant eat any more, even though your delights are tempting.
Wishing you a beautiful Christmas Lauren.

Lauren those cookies look delicious, and I’ll bet they are. I am glad you took a short break, but do understand why you’re back too, not an addiction but a need to share, I think! xx
I wish you could have a cookie, Penny! They’re really too good! 🙂 The break was needed but it’s also good to be back. Now, though, I have lots of catching up to do after being away for Christmas. Blogging shouldn’t be stressful but not being able to stay caught up tends to be. 🙂 Hugs!
