it’s falling in droves
and its rhythm, hypnotic
I hear grateful sighs

I am so thankful you are receiving much needed rainfall and I hope it continues to soak into the ground to help California’s Thirst.. While it rains there, at last the Sun is shining here these last few days.. 🙂
Thanks, Sue, I hope it continues, too. I’m not sure if we’re out of the drought around here, but I’m sure more would benefit. Other parts of the state are still very dry. And I’m glad you have sunshine now, too! It’s been crazy with such opposite extremes in different areas…xoxo
Gorgeous Lauren, both haiku and photo. So pleased you finally got some rain 😊 xxx ❤
Thanks so much, Chris, and I’m glad you’re getting some warmer, nicer weather now, so you can enjoy your beautiful garden! ♥ xoxo
It seems like this winter the weather is messed up everywhere, too much snow, too much rain, too much cold, too much drought. I hope spring returns us all to normal.
It sure has, Binky, and I have the same hope for spring! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

LET IT RAIN WITH A “WATERFUL” HAIKU!
Thanks for reblogging, Jonathan! I appreciate it and yes, let it rain, still some more! 🙂
Awesome haiku and it took me in one direction and then another. I could feel the last part in my soul as I wait for Spring 🙂
Thanks, Scott, and I know you are anxiously awaiting spring! 🙂
Well written Lauren.
Thanks, Kim! 🙂
Just lovely, Lauren! And so glad some rain has come your way! XO ♥
Thanks so much, Diane! It does feel refreshing and hopefully, we’ll get more, too. I hope spring comes soon for you, though, because I know you’re looking forward to its arrival! 🙂 ♥
Very well written, Lauren….as always!
Sending you much love and hugs xxx
Thanks, Deb! Sending you love back for a great weekend, too! xoxo
hasn’t rained here since December, but that’s seasonal not a drought. However once we hear the rainbirds singing and we have an early downpour like last night time to write a haiku – however you have captured it so well, and I’m watching mi esposa sitting reading in the garden, that I think I’ll try to capture her under a blue sky instead.
Thanks for visiting and for your comment, John, and I think your idea is a wonderful one…I can just picture the lovely scene…
