Hi there
Are you ready for the weekend…for
Playing, prancing, painting,
Paddle boating or pajama parties?
YAY, YAHOO, YIPPEE
Forget dilemmas, at least for today
Rejoice and raise your arms to the sky
In gratitude for the new, amazing sunrise
Dive into happiness, embrace it with gusto
And stay there for a long, long time, then
Yodel on top of a mountain ♫

I can hear ya, Soma, and you sound terrrrrific! 🙂 Hugs back to you and lots of love! Thanks, Sis! 🙂
Love it! I kinda read it like a chanting or cheer leading, far from yodeling. 😛 Happy Friday!
It doesn’t matter, I don’t yodel, either, I just thought that was a fun touch! I’m glad you liked it and wishing you a great weekend, too! 🙂
I do the crostic puzzles all the time. Like them better than crosswords.
They are fun, aren’t they, Carl? Happy Weekend! 🙂
Have a greeeeeat weekend!!

Lauren- Very good. Everyone should feel good about a weekend – didn’t we use to call that TGIF or something like that? Luv ya, Dad

Awww…not really, but thanks, Renee! I appreciate your encouragement! Happy weekend to you! xo
Great poem, really captures the feeling of Friday. The last line hits a home run! I had almost forgotten to schedule yodeling :x!
Thanks so much, George! I usually try to post something fun for Mondays and Fridays, if time permits! It’s always good to spread smiles to begin and end the week! I thought the yodeling was a fun, final touch! 🙂
I don’t think that emoticon worked properly lol…it looks angry. I meant to do the crossed lips one!
It’s okay; I didn’t sense anger in your words! lol

Celeste
Thanks, Celeste, I usually try to do something fun for Mondays and/or Fridays and acrostics are definitely fun and challenging. I appreciate all of your kindness and sweet words to begin my Monday, but yes, can’t wait ’till Friday, too! 🙂 Bless you, too, my lovely friend~
Such energetic happiness you express here as you approach your weekend, dear Lauren! You go, girl!
Thanks, Rose, this was from last Friday and it’s amazing how fast that wonderful weekend flies by! 🙂
Hope you’re doing well!
Yes, after a week’s labour – we need to unwind, recharge and set aside exclusive time for family, friends, ourselves…and God. I look forward to weekends – not because my weekdays are bad but because there is this wonderful atmosphere in the air…generated by beautiful thought vibrations by people all around.
I agree with every words you said, Eric! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re enjoying this weekend, too! Hugs!
