HAPPY FRIDAY ACROSTIC :)

Hi there
Are you ready for the weekend…for
Playing, prancing, painting,
Paddle boating or pajama parties?
YAY, YAHOO, YIPPEE

Forget dilemmas, at least for today
Rejoice and raise your arms to the sky
In gratitude for the new, amazing sunrise
Dive into happiness, embrace it with gusto
And stay there for a long, long time, then
Yodel on top of a mountain  ♫

Lauren- Very good. Everyone should feel good about a weekend – didn’t we use to call that TGIF or something like that? Luv ya, Dad

Great poem, really captures the feeling of Friday. The last line hits a home run! I had almost forgotten to schedule yodeling :x!

    1. Thanks so much, George! I usually try to post something fun for Mondays and Fridays, if time permits! It’s always good to spread smiles to begin and end the week! I thought the yodeling was a fun, final touch! 🙂

Love your acrostic, Lauren! So uplifting, happy – loved the “dive into happiness” line! This really made me smile big time, thank you! ~ Love and hugs, Julie xoxox 😀

    1. Thanks, Celeste, I usually try to do something fun for Mondays and/or Fridays and acrostics are definitely fun and challenging. I appreciate all of your kindness and sweet words to begin my Monday, but yes, can’t wait ’till Friday, too! 🙂 Bless you, too, my lovely friend~

  4. Yes, after a week’s labour – we need to unwind, recharge and set aside exclusive time for family, friends, ourselves…and God. I look forward to weekends – not because my weekdays are bad but because there is this wonderful atmosphere in the air…generated by beautiful thought vibrations by people all around.

I appreciate your thoughts!
