This is a great one, Lauren–love it!
One of my favorite sounds 🙂
Me, too, thank you! 🙂
Like “trickles”. When I bought my townhouse 20 years ago the realtor finally got honest about the 4 square block empty land behind it. They planned to build a school there. I’m a teacher. Did not discourage me a bit. Besides a school is better than crack invested gun tottin’ teenagers in section 8 housing.
Thanks, Carl, and I can totally agree with what you’re saying! A school is much, much better! 🙂
Lauren, so beautiful! Always love your Haiku’s!
Thanks so much, Wendell! xx
This is bliss 🙂
hugs to the lovely soul that you are 🙂
Oh, thank you, Soma…I was at the computer yesterday (what a surprise :)) and I heard children laughing and I loved it. Had to write about it! 🙂 Hugs to you, too! xo
Isn’t this just the greatest part of a warm Sunday afternoon lazing around the front porch?
Yes, it ’tis, Rose! 🙂
Lovely poem as always, Lauren. 🙂
Thanks, always, Cynthia! xo
Lovely Haiku. You just made me realize that’s one sound of summer I enjoy best.
Thank you for following my blog. I’ve enjoyed checking yours out and reading your poems.
You’re welcome and thanks so much, Lori. I look forward to reading more of your poetry, too! Take care, Lauren
