  3. Congratulations and thank you Lauren for this award. I had been feeling a bit sad due to Life and more submission rejects and this award could not have come at a better time. Now it’s back to work. I’ve got some poetry and scripts that I’m working on and duty calls… Thanks again.

Honestly, I have no idea where the awards originate from..however, I do remember reading something about bloggers creating them, but I don’t remember where I read it! Funny, huh??         Good morning, Lauren! I don’t think I’ll ask wordpress–it takes them awhile to get to my technical questions, and this one would probably confirm me as a certifiable nut! However, I have one more (possibly stupid) question for you: did you interpret Betty’s acceptance of the Genuine Blogger Award, as including you and me in her nominations? I’m too embarrassed to ask her directly–which is truly ridiculous, I know. I don’t want to appear “greedy” on top of everything else–but I don’t want to ignore an opportunity to bless others, by passing it on, either….aiy yai yai!

        No question is ever stupid or silly! 🙂 She thanked us for other awards in the past and she did write “along with them, I would like to nominate…” So I would interpret that as a nomination. However, in my haste and playing catch up again, I didn’t catch that and wasn’t planning on following through. Again, however, I have some awards to follow through for and now will probably include her as nominating me. It’s a tough one. Read her post again and let me know what you think. Off to work I go, until later this afternoon! CA time! Hugs!
