You’re a never ending roller coaster ride
taking me to the highest level of contentment
and then soaring downhill together
to my lowest moments of worry

You sit with me through plummeting tears
as my sadness whispers uncontrollably
and I’m forever wishing the answers
would arrive soon all wrapped up and pretty

You are compassionate, so I give you
my trials that steal sleep from me in the night
now bringing peace to my emotions and
calming the control I no longer want

Whether the road is smooth or uneven
You’ll always have a special place
in the pocket resting beside my heart
and I’ll never let you drift away

Sending Warm Holiday Wishes ♥

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

It’s been three months since I’ve blogged
and I’ve missed you all!
This acrostic poem is from last year,
but the meaning is just as sincere.
Some of you know why I’ve been absent and for now,
things are stable, but I’m still unsure about returning
to blogland. However, I couldn’t let this year end
without sending my sincere holiday wishes.
So, I wish for you Love, Peace, Hope and Miracles
this Christmas season and not only in the New Year to come,
but for forever~

Enjoying priceless times with loved ones

Rejoicing in the birth of our Dear Savior

Realizing your blessings and finding peace

Yearning for the Holy birthday of the year

Remembering, a small act of kindness is a big gift

Imagining the festive spirit throughout the New Year

Seeing the delight and wonder through a child’s eyes

Taking time and letting God’s loving light shine through you

Making magical moments that will turn into precious memories

Allowing yourself tranquility in the midst of the seasonal chaos

Silently saying a prayer for those who are in need of God’s healing grace

Undying Faith

We sat in cushioned pews, embraced by God’s love,
awestruck by the strength of her faith. Her words were
pillars of conviction. Her eyes never lost their luster
for His surrounding beauty. She moved gracefully
around the stage, as her voice was a hymn to our
saddened souls. Although her body was failing, she
wore elegance beautifully in the stylish cap. Her smile
permeated the sanctuary. Even so, we held back tears,
ready for pouring. God needed one more angel. He knew
her death would cause heartache for her devoted husband
and two lovely teens. Yet, still He called her home.
She soon received her wings.
