Chasing sunshine as
the wind gives feather kisses
we wave to redwoods

Scott’s rave: Wow, my eyes and soul just drank a cafe mocha with whipped cream! I think all my favorite poets are trying to give me an art attack of sensual flow. This one from LScott is obviously no exception and seems to bring together everything one could hope for in describing such a moment. The setting and sensual embrace of both soul and body. So beautifully composed LScott! Please visit LScott Poetry and dive even deeper…

This is another sample from the 8 or less minute challenge on Scott’s new blog. It also would have been without a title had it not been for him choosing a great one! 🙂

Scott’s rave: I read this tantalizing poem several times! Oceans, waves, and shores are all keywords to awaken my romantic imagination and this one from LScott is a perfect example! She allowed me to name it so I chose “Wake” for it’s dual meaning that fits in both senses here. The wave behind a moving object that spreads as it’s moving forward and the obvious event of a sensual moment evolving, or waking. Oh, how I want to lovingly bait my anticipating muse and show her all my love and desire I…

This is such a beautiful beginning to the new blossoming season from Christine…
I love spring,
how she yawns and stretches,
quiet confidence;
instinct melded with a trust
that says it’s okay to go.
She was almost fooled
a couple of times this year,
but not enough to daunt
or throw off course.
And now look at those shoots;
delicate still, a little pale, but
granite firm and ready.
They have work to do,
an audience to captivate,
starring roles to support.
And as always, will succeed;
why would this year be any different?

Scott’s rave: One of LScott’s beautiful poems she wrote in only 7 minutes and made my day by allowing it posted here! Oh, the passionate moments that feel like a dream with the one we love and our senses are “relentlessly” captivated! It’s a moment that two don’t even see an option to halt, as something else has taken over. Perhaps that’s why the title “Trance” fits perfectly here. I also call it “heartquake” and nothing compares to it. Please visit and follow LScott Poetry to enjoy more of her…

Many flowers live in gardens
Their colors add light to our days
but one bud shines brighter than others
It’s special in so many ways
This flower radiates strength
and our world is a better place
with all the love that is offered
in it’s very warm embrace

This is dedicated to my
very special blogging friend,
Granbee, also known as Rose.
She hasn’t blogged in a long time
and I miss her.
I know I’m not alone,
as she is missed by many.
She remains in our prayers
and we hope to be graced
by her presence again.
We love you, Rose ♥
Here’s a Valentine wish
for my hubby to whom I’m smitten
and to all of you
who peek at what I’ve written,
to my dearly missed Mom,
it’s been a year since she’s been gone
to my family who support me,
they’re as strong as the sea
Today isn’t just a day for lovers,
It’s a day of love that covers
everyone who adds
color to your life,
lessens the strife,
adds calm to your crazy,
brings life to your lazy,
and adds love with a hug.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
With many x’s and o’s,
Lauren
