Dog Love Abounds!

Resa at Graffiti Lux Art & More recently featured my 13-year-old chocolate lab mix, Copper, so I’m reblogging because if you’re a dog lover, you won’t want to miss her post! But not only is Copper Boy featured, so are John’s adorable Twiggy and Marina’s beautiful Hera!
But first, below is a little bit about Resa if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her:

I am thrilled that Resa loved my poem “Copper Boyenough to include it. So, here’s what she has to say about Copper in which she gently inserts a plug for Ever So Gently:

And now to see those gorgeous dogs at Resa’s, click on the link below ⬇️.

Thanks again, Resa, for including Copper! He sends you lots of slobbery kisses! Good thing you keep those sponges handy ‘cuz he loves to give kisses, but in his senior years, he’s also a bit drooly! 😂🐶

  1. “He never wastes one precious minute worrying about world events” Oh am I ever so envious! Lovely poem Lauren. I’d like to meet Copper. I jumped over to Resa’s blog as well. I’m a big fan of mural art. –Curt

    1. I’m envious too, Curt! It’s definitely a dog’s life! Thanks so much for your kind words, and I wish you could meet Copper. He’s a friendly boy! And thanks for visiting Resa. She’s a wonderful friend with incredible talent in this community!

  2. Woo Hoo!! In case some of your followers don’t carry their own for when they get doggy kisses: 🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽🧽
Thank you for the reblog, dear Lauren.
I’d like to add, because its Veterans Day, (thank you from my heart 💖💖💖 to all who served) that many dogs have helped serve humanity in the Armed Forces, Police & Rescue Services and more.
You wrote a beautiful poem for Copper, perfect for your wonderful book of poetry.
    Dogs rock & you rock!
    💖xoxo💖

    1. Aww, Resa, you are so generous! LOL
You’re welcome, and I love your comment for Veteran’s Day! Thanks for ALL your support that continues to pour in like an awe-inspiring waterfall. 🙂 And Copper and I say that you rock!!!
      ❤️🐶❤️🥰🥰

      1. No worries! After Marina’s dog, I buy the sponges by the crate! 🤭
        Nothing like a beautiful waterfall!
        Kiss Copper for me! 🐶❤️🥰xo

  3. I did love Resa’s post which was such a wonderful tribute to Copper and to your work. She is so wonderful and I love her street art. I thought of her yesterday when I was taking pics of murals and thought “oh Resa will love this:. Congrats Lauren and happy Saturday my friend. 💗💕

    1. Thanks, Cindy! I’m glad you loved Resa’s post too! She is always so creative, and of course, I appreciate her support about my work and book. I can see how you thought of Resa when you saw the mural; I do too whenever I see murals. There’s a cool elephant mural that I see everyday, and someday I need to get a photo of it! Thanks again for all your support, and Happy Saturday to you, dear friend! ❤️❤️

  4. Hi Lauren, Resa is a fabulous photographer. Her comment that she is an amateur is a real understatement as Resa has an artistic flair for photography. Thank you for this excellent post about Resa.

    1. Hi Robbie, I’m glad you loved this reblog of Resa’s post. I agree with you also about her photography skill. It’s over the top! As a dog lover, I especially loved this Dog Love post. More incredible artwork, and I was delighted that she included Copper. 🙂 🩷

    1. Hi, Hera! Yes! I’m having so much fun at Resa’s and I’m glad you’re here too! She really knows how to throw a party!!! 🎉 Woof! Woof! Mom sends you lots of love and hugs and more slobbery kisses from me! 🧡🐶🧡🐶🧡

    1. Thanks for your lovely comment, Kamal, and Copper is blushing. 🙂 Resa is a photographer of mural art which she shares on her blog. She really has an eye for amazing talent. But she’s also a seamstress and the long gowns she creates are out of this world. If you get the chance, try to visit her blog. I’m sure you’ll love it. Hugs xoxo

  5. Aw, what a good boy Copper is! 🙂 Coincidentally, my older sister has Dachshund named Copper (he’s a good boy, too). Your poem is brilliant and heart-melting and life-affirming. I think every poet should be required to write at least one poetic tribute to our doggo buddies (I have one on my blog if you’re interested). Resa’s blog is super-cool, as well! Thanks for sharing Copper Boy with us, Lauren. It’s a nice start to my morning! 🙂

    1. There must be something magical about the name, Copper, Mike. 🙂 Thanks so much for your kind words about my poem. And I agree about writing a poem about our furry friends. I will definitely check yours out! I’m glad you feel the same about Resa’s blog. She is so talented and another gem of a friend (as are you) in this wonderful community. I’m also happy to provide a nice start to your morning. And now I wish you a wonderful Monday and week. ❤️🤗

      1. Thanks a bunch, Lauren. 🙂 The doggo tribute poem on my blog is titled “For Harley” and is about a deaf beagle whom I was fortunate enough to know during my days on the farm. You can find it in the Poetry menu section. (I didn’t want to burden your comment section by including a link here.) Hope you enjoy it. 🙂
