It was cloudy and misty
in the morning, but the sun joined us a littler later
and it was a fun, relaxing way to spend a Saturday.
“Nature entertains
abundantly each day
Life’s colors and compositions
God’s gifts we praise”
(From my original poem, Beautiful Existence, 4/23/13)
I hope you enjoyed these photos
and I wish you all a wonderful weekend! ♥

Come enjoy a day at the park with Lauren!
Thanks for reblogging, Martha! xx
You’re welcome!!!
Lovely spot, nice photos. Where are the people?
Thanks so much and these were taken early, before people started arriving. 🙂
Ahhh
You know I love photos and these are exceptional Lauren!
Thanks, Scott, and these are just from my cell. Not bad, huh? We need to shop for a good camera soon, though. 🙂
What a beautiful spot to spend the day. I could stay there all day…every week! 🙂
Sending you much love and hugs for a wonderful weekend! xoxo
Thanks, Deb, it is real pretty and we should do this more often, too! All the same wishes, love and hugs to you, too! xoxo
I like that phrase – “the sun joined us a little later”
A welcomed and warm companion – not an intruder.
Love especially that second last shot of the tree.
All good wishes for the weekend 🙂

Thanks, Eric, yes, the sun was very much welcomed and warmed us as we needed. I think it’s the Weeping Willow you liked? I love that one, too. Glad you enjoyed and wishing you a great weekend, too! 🙂
Wonderful photographs Lauren. My favorite is the first one, those clouds are just gorgeous. Beautiful words to share also! xx
Thanks so much, Penny! I’ve decided to share some of my amateur photos occasionally, along with music. I hope everyone continues to enjoy because I think they’ll be good breaks for when I don’t have a new poem! 🙂 I love those clouds, too, and the weeping willow tree! Hugs! xx btw, I’ve got you on my blogroll now! I’m glad I found your happy heart!
Thank you very much Lauren! 🙂 xx

I love the cool and inviting spot, Lauren, perfect place to relax, and to commune with God and nature.
Thanks so much, Cynthia, this is a beautiful spot in the spring, but in summer, it’s quite hot. We went at a good time…Thanks for all your visits, my friend! Hugs!
