Have you ever sensed
the tingling of a feeling
arriving without a label?
It stirs through your reflections,
your layers, and you find yourself
walking around in a daze
where reality offers no place
of comfort. So, the sun sets
for the moon, but what does
this clarify? One thing is certain –
within the constellations,
among the celestial stars,
this emotion finds balance,
graciously treasuring the safety
it has stumbled upon.

Yes, I know that tingling Lauren but could never put it into such beautiful words. So inspiring!
How nice of you to “say” Balroop! I’m so glad my words resonate with you! Thanks so much, dear friend. π
Oh Lauren, you have captured so well these feelings that stir at times trying to make sense of or trying to find a home. This is quite a beautiful way to give meaning to “these feelings without a label”. You certainly found a way to capture our hearts in imagery and warmth in the constellations and celestial stars. Thanks for your wonderful poem! β£οΈ
Thanks, Cindy, for your awesome comment! I wasn’t sure about posting this poem, but I clicked on publish and crossed my fingers. I know we are our own worst critics sometimes. Anyway, I’m glad so many have resonated with my words and the feelings that we can’t make sense of at times. It appears that I’m not alone in the boat. π Thanks again for your lovely words. β€οΈ
You’re most welcome and yes, we are in the same boat. Oh, I know that feeling well and our community is just so awesome. I loved what you said and “borrowed” it today for a poem I’m working on .. just a little I hope. lol Welcome always Lauren! β£οΈ

You are very graciously welcome so much, Lauren. I did like it.
Intriguing poem, Lauren! β¨ I have learned to pay close attention to that “tingly” feeling when it arrives “without” a label, as you say.
I’m happy you found this poem intriguing, Michele. Those unlabeled feelings can be perplexing, so they made for a good prompt. I’m glad you pay close attention to them. π₯°
Perplexing describes those feelings quite aptly. Paying attention to them has brought meaningful situations and people into my life. It feels like intuition at a profound level. I enjoyed your poem. Thank you, Lauren.
Exactly so, my dearest Lauren… and so wonderfully weaved! β€οΈ

A thought-provoking poem. Getting out in nature (any kind of nature) puts that unsettled feeling to rest for me.
