Beautiful lake poem, Lauren! It has a feel of serenity! Hugs from across another blue xo
Thanks, Francina! We definitely found serenity and enjoyed it while we were there (except for the thunder/lightning storm the second night). 🙂 Many hugs to you, my friend, from across the pond xo
Nature. Unbeatable.
True. Ben. 🙂
🙂
A magical poem from the magical vision…beautiful, Lauren! 😀 The poem and photo ooze with peace and calm. However, I’m tempted to have a quick dip! 😀
Aww, thanks so much, Annika! This lake was truly stunning and peaceful. We went early last month, so it wasn’t crowded. However, it’s so big that there’s enough sand and water for all. 🙂 Oh, and we did go in for a dip and it was awesome! ☺❤
I agree with every word. Wonderful tribute.
I’m glad I had the chance to see this lake, too. My husband had talked about it for years, but we never made it there. Finally…and now I’m ready to return. 🙂 Thank you, Shian!
Beautiful photo. I am happy that you have your magic with words again. Love you my friend. Hugs. ❤
Aww, it’s so great to see you, Renee, although I know you’re not blogging anymore. Yeah, didn’t I say I was done, too? Finished with writing also? Never say never, I guess. 🙂 Anyway, I miss you in blogland, but understand…Love you, too, my friend, and thanks so much for your beautiful comment. Big hugs 💜💚❤
Once again beautiful Lauren!
Thanks so much, Scott! I’m grateful for this beautiful inspiration…
Beautiful, Lauren!
Thanks so much, Bette! 💕
Loved your Shadarma and delighted to find out more about this form of poetry. Must give it a try… xo
Thanks again, Bette! They’re actually kind of fun, so I look forward to reading yours! 🙂 xo
Awesome Lauren. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much, Maureen! Hugs 💗
I’m trying to place the water scene Lauren. Where did you take that one? Nice poem.
Thanks, Ian! It is Loon Lake in northern Cal., Eldorado County, near Lake Tahoe. It was pristine and peaceful, especially last month so we didn’t have to fight the crowds. 🙂
Lakes can be pretty captivating.
They can, and we’ve grown to love them and swimming in freshwater. Thanks for stopping by, Binky!
I love how you personify the water in this poem, Lauren! ❤
Beautiful – both.
Thanks very much! I appreciate your lovely comment!
touching – music melody on the ocean under the moonlight…wow:)
Thanks, Mihran! I love your musical way with words. 🙂
Beautiful and serene!
Thanks, Michelle! Sending hugs!
❤❤❤
Lauren, so wonderful to reconnect with your words again. This shines!
Thanks, Don! That’s really nice to hear. This was a long break for me, so in returning, I wasn’t sure who’d remember me. 🙂 I hope you’re doing better, and it’s nice to see you also!
