Connections

SabrinaFair 2015

I pondered long and hard for the answer
wondering, wavering of emotions inside
How relative time has been in this journey
this crazy, happy, emotional ride

The voices unheard, yet heard of so clearly
in universal languages for all to hear
The faces unseen, yet seen in tiny glimpses
of those who opened their windows for air

How thoughtful the praise each time I read
How warm my hopeful heart became
How humble it felt from deep within
How grateful my soul will surely remain

    1. Thanks so much, Scott! I’m glad you could relate also, to the point of really feeling it..This blogging experience has been a wonderful way of connecting with so many amazing people, including you. šŸ™‚

    1. Thanks very much, Naima, and all is well in life. I’m just blogging more infrequently than in the past but I appreciate you stopping by and I will visit you this week sometime. I hope life is treating you well, too…Much love and blessings..

  1. The words delightfully bear the weight of your feelings, Lauren… Truly, we live in a closely connected world, with each one invisibly sheltering the other…best wishes.. Raj.

    1. Your comments always make my day, Raj, with their depth and beauty and know they are greatly appreciated. I hope you’re doing well since I’m not around as much. I will head over your way though this week. Take care…

    1. Aww, thank you, Geraldine, your comment warmed my heart! I may only post once a month and visit when I can. I’ve been busy with home life and will start school in the fall. So blogging is taking a back seat. How are you? Miss you, too, my friend, but I’ll visit your blog soon…

      1. I forgot to mention, I LOVE your new header! Wow, how beautiful is that. Isn’t spring the best, with everything coming into bloom again. šŸ™‚

      2. Thanks! Spring is a beautiful season with its splash of colors. I will need lots of “good luck” wishes for my academic adventure. I’m excited and nervous but really ready to start. It’s the anticipation that kills us. šŸ™‚ It will all begin in the fall. Congrats on all your books and I’m behind on buying books but I still have your email and will add your new book to my collection soon. I can’t remember if you have my new book, too, Finding a Balance. All the info is on my blog…anyway, have a lovely weekend, too. Today is our son’s 20th birthday! šŸ™‚ Love and hugs!

    1. Thanks so much, Sue! I agree, the universal language of Love! We need more of it, desperately! I’m only posting about once a month and trying to visit blogs, too. I miss it and you and many friends but have been busy offline, too. šŸ™‚ How are you doing? I love all the May blooms and my hubby surprised me with early Mother’s Day blooms, some hanging flowering plants that I wanted for the house. A Fuchsia and a Lantana and they’re gorgeous. Anyway, have a lovely Mother’s Day and I’ll visit your blog this weekend, too, to catch up a bit. Sending much love and many hugs!
