Do you ever
feel like screaming?
Your heart, mind
and soul
are filled to capacity
with frustration,
ready for explosion
You’re seeking
a solution
to your equation
but problem solving
needs consideration
and concentration
to reach fruition
What is your intention?
To lose the connection
or to move forward
with full participation
and determination?
My suggestion
is to assess
the situation
Dispose of
this emotion
Take action
by using your
Imagination
bringing this
discussion
to completion

Love the rhythm and style!
Thanks, Ms. Owl! 🙂
Who never felt like that, right? I guess screaming never does the job, though. Imagination is always our best friend at those times, aye? Nice to read your words, Lauren! x
I agree with you, Nanda, on all three counts! Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind words, always! xxx
A big YES Lauren to all your lovely poem expresses! Just a great big yes 🙂 ❤ HBL XX
Aww..thanks, Chris! This was definitely fun to write! 🙂 HBL ♥ xoxo
Yes, Lauren, I agree!
Love and hugs xxx
Glad you do, Deb! Thanks and sending some love and hugs back to you, too! xoxo
Really enjoyed reading this. I think the key here is “Dispose of this emotion”. Just reading brings back memories of days like this.
Thanks so much, Tric, and I like your choice of that phrase, too…if we do, then we can move forward with a positive outlook! 🙂
I like your suggestion, will not lose any connection
Thank you so much! 🙂
Great way of putting these emotions into a poem! Really liked it. 🙂
Thanks very much, Nandini! It was fun to write! 🙂
I don’t think I would ever ‘solve’ anything without my imagination, Lauren. Of course, then that may present more ‘problems’ … at least in the real world. But, nevertheless, I know it is my savior. XO ♥
I feel the same, Diane! Thanks for your comment! Hugs! ♥
I love your flow in this piece and yes, I feel this way quite often! Nice work – 🙂
Thanks so much, Charlene, for your descriptive complement! You made my day! 🙂
Were you peeking in my window last night. I know this feeling. You shared it perfectly in this poem!!
Aww..thank you for the nice complement, Anonymous! 🙂
I really enjoyed this one Lauren. Yes, I have felt like screaming a time or two. tee hee. Yes, using our imagination is much better. Have a special day. Hugs, Renee ♥
Thanks, Renee, I guess I felt like this the other day and was inspired to write. It turned out to be kind of fun with a deeper message! 🙂 Hugs back! ♥
Great patterning, both textual and visual, all adding up to a poetic piece of very good advice! Well done.
xoxo!
Thank you very much, my friend, for your wonderful comment! Sending hugs for a happy Wednesday! ♥
Another beautiful poem with a strong and positive message. Love it, Lauren!!
Saw your wedding pic on Facebook!! Awww 🙂 thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks so much, Cha, I’m glad you liked this fun one! It was fun to write, but I also wanted a good message in there, too! 🙂 And thanks for your kind words about our wedding pic…I guess I’m thinking about our 25th early, as it will be in January…I’m too mushy sometimes! That’s only one flaw! Hehe! Anyway, take care and sending hugs!
I like the way you put express emotion in your writings. Great work.
Thanks, Audrina! I like to write about what others can relate to also! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for your visit!
A perfect read, Lauren. It should be on the wall. Clever use with your words and graphic with awareness and understanding of how to move on to a better place! 🙂 xo
Thanks, Penny, for your complement on my cleverness! It was fun to write and as I was writing, I wanted to fold a message into the fun use of words..glad it came out okay! 🙂 xoxo
Great poem, Lauren.. A poem many of us can relate to indeed.
have a wonderful weekend 🙂 l&h xxxxx
Thanks, Francina, sending you hugs for a happy weekend, too! xoxox 🙂
This actually made me laugh because I have had many times where I have felt the need to scream where it obviously hasn’t been appropriate. I can feel it all built up, so instead I laugh as a way of getting it out.
I’m glad, Bianca! Laughter is better than screaming! This was one of the fun poems to write! 🙂
