A Trail of Spring

Contrary to my poem on climate change a couple weeks ago, “The Effects”, I found a trail of spring on a recent morning walk. Even though we’re still in dire need of buckets of raindrops, the blooms I saw rejuvenated my steps. I felt inspired because of their beautiful representation of rebirth, exactly what this lovely new season is all about. They didn’t mind posing for a quick photo op, so would you like to join me for a second time around on the trail?

And now, a little more about Nature herself…

Her Offerings

Harmony lives in each flow of a breeze
In each gentle embrace of evergreens
The clear blue enchantingly shields
Let nothing stay concealed.

Blooms tender their affable smile
Leaves listen in for awhile
Birdsong soothes the whirling mind
A landscape perfectly designed.

Nature’s lessons are plentiful
Shall our choices be flexible?
We are not ignorant to her offerings
Receive them for relief of suffering.

A painting of beauty and brilliance
Mesmerizing even in distance
Can you deny the splendid view?
Allow serenity to fall into you.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the visuals and the poem, Marina. Thank you!! It was such a beautiful walk. By the way, your requests may be working because rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. Fingers crossed. 🙂 Love and hugs to you, dear friend. 💝💐💝💐💝💐

  1. Beautiful, Lauren, both the flowers and your poem.
The poem carrying us from harmony to serenity . I love the first that the first and last lines could make a couplet.

  2. I can imagine your walk was refreshing with all the lovely spring flowers, Lauren. I would have loved to walk with you. I’m sure the lovely flowers called me to capture their beauty and we can compare. Your poem is so sweet. I’ll check out your book! ❤

    1. It would be fun to take a walk like this together, Miriam. 🙂 I know you would have loved the blooms. Thanks about my poem and I hope you enjoy my book. Songs of Heartstrings is next for me, too. I look forward to hosting you on the 28th and I’m delighted to be part of an anthology with you also. 🌺💞

      1. I still haven’t met up with any bloggers yet, Lauren. I wish it will happen someday, walking together and talking about something in common. Oh, I just emailed you a revised post for the tour. Let me know if it’s okay. 😍

    1. Thanks, Robbie. Despite the lack of rain, these blooms made me smile. And thanks for your kind words about my poem, too; I know you’ve already seen it in my book. 💗
