      1. Thank you. It’s my wife’s birthday today. Sadly she is not feeling well physically which obviously puts a bit of a damper on things. 😦

  1. Love them both, Lauren – excellent!

Kindness is the way to go – it nourishes the giver as much as the receiver.

And comforting – we can all do with some – both giving and receiving.

God bless and all good wishes, my friend 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Eric, and so true about how kindness nourishes both the giver and receiver – the same for comforting…thanks for adding that insight.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Sunday. ❤

      1. I know. I think when we look around, we see plenty of kindness and compassion in our communities. It’s when we read the news that we think it’s disappeared!!!

      2. Quite so. Reading the news is bad for your (mental/emotional/spiritual) health. I gave it up a long time ago, Ditto radio and TV “news”.

      3. My thoughts, exactly, Pam, which is why I don’t watch the news that much. Even the headlines are depressing enough. But, on a brighter note, have a great Monday! 🙂

  2. Sadly compassion is difficult at times. Isn’t it hard to have compassion for people who have different opinions? It’s hard to feel compassion for people we don’t understand or like. Even sometimes when the people we love make bad decisions compassion does not come easily. But like your words say, we need to keep trying. Thanks for the reminder.

    1. Everything you said is so true, Adrienne. There are many challenging scenarios and all we can do is try. Thanks so much for visiting and for your feedback! Have a lovely day!

I appreciate your thoughts!
