Tomorrow

My desire
isn’t to see
you again,
nor to touch
your face
as my lips
meet yours

(a longing
from
yesterday)

instead,
I must do

what is right
for you and me…
let go of
futile dreams

    1. Thanks for your awesome comment, Ian. The hard part is discerning when it is time to pack up and move on, instead of holding onto hope that things will go in the direction we want. πŸ™‚

    1. No, it isn’t, is it? πŸ™‚ Thanks so much, Michelle, and thanks for tweeting, too! I’m not on twitter, so I have no idea how that works. But I appreciate you sharing my poem. Hugs back for a Happy Monday!
