My family blindfolded me, yesterday, on our way to my birthday lunch.
Our destination was seafood on the bay, exquisite!
And…the best cheesecake and apple pie, ever! 🙂

I wish you all a blessed and peaceful Monday~xx

  1. Oh what a wonderful way to celebrate Birthday Lauren…i loved the fact that your family blindfolded you to lunch…
I am so happy to know you have had such a good time
Yay to the beautiful fifty one..
    hugs n love 🙂

    1. Thanks, Soma, and the blindfold was a bit uncomfortable, but I made it through! It sure gives you perspective on not having sight! But, it was a fun day! Thanks for all your love and hugs and I’m sending them back to you, too! xo

    1. Thanks, Christy! The blindfold was on for maybe a half hour of riding in the car and trying to guess where we were, based on the radio station. I failed! But, the destination was worth it! xo 🙂

I was wishing you a Happy Birthday Lauren…couldn’t seem to post at the time. Anyhoo….always wonderful to let the ‘little girl’ come out every once in awhile. So happy for you that you had a special day. Big hugz…happy 51st Bday. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Renee, and yes, I did something and messed up the comments; now everything seems to be okay…and it’s definitely good to let the little girl out every so often! 🙂 Have a great evening! Hugs! 🙂

I actually thought that maybe you just wanted some family time being your bday and all…That would of been ok too. Glad you got it fixed though… 🙂

      2. It’s always good to have family time! I can tell you have a big heart, too! 🙂 (but, no, I wasn’t closing the comments, in fact, I felt so bad) Oh, the joys of technology! xo

Thank you Lauren. Oh gosh I know!! Like you said.”the joys of technology!” So true. At times computers can have you yelling at them. ha ha 🙂 hugz, Renee

    1. Thanks, Betty, I know, that’s when I clicked or un-clicked something and messed up the comments. I’m still trying to figure things out, but at least, the comments are working now…Anyway, thank you for your bday wishes! Have a great weekend! xx

  3. Oh that was so sweet of them, good for you! Here’s to celebrating your life Lauren! Your family surely knows how to keep you filled up — bless their hearts. It is evident how you continue to be inspired in your writing. 🙂 Blessings, love & light, namaste…~NM
