My kids and I were talking last night about poetry
and they urged me to try writing some Haiku, so here is one beginning sample
about my favorite season:
Pumpkins on the porch
Pies baking in the oven
Raindrops lightly fall

I can just feel the Autumn air…
Love this, autumn is my favorite time of year!
I’m more of a limerick type of girl by nature, but this poem totally reminds me of my grandma’s house when Thanksgiving is near.
Haiku is new for me, but it was fun to try! I love those past Thanksgiving memories, too! Thanks for stopping by!
