Be

be free

Are you ready to smile?
How about a chuckle?

Say bye to the blues
and all your troubles
Forget your laundry
It never ends
So what’s the point
Call up your friends
Leave technology
it won’t forsake you
Its devotion is solid
and so very true
Shed the comfort coat
Give life a try
Reach with your “All”
You may touch the sky
Now dance around
for everyone to see
Don’t be shy
Be You, Be Free
Just
Be

Lauren, what a delightful, lovely poem – it made me smile today, thank you! Love and hugs, Julie xoxox

  2. All I can be
    is but me
    and although I am free
but just like a tree, I am grounded with roots
branches they shoot and feel the breeze
birds come and nest on me
technology forces me to bear more fruits
its injected in me all things to improve
but..its now me .half natural half artificial
    I am trying to smile
    I am trying to breathe
    I am trying to live
    a bit by bit

  3. This is lovely Lauren. And something I think we all need to be aware of more often. Not enough time is spent just being. We seem to have to be doing or else we’re not valid

    ❤ HBL XXX!

    1. Sounds good to me, Eve, who wouldn’t want to fly? And I’m glad to hear you’ve moved on to more important things (like blogging) instead of doing laundry. It is so devoted that it waits for us to come back, no matter how long… 🙂 Thanks for commenting! xxx

  4. Loved it Lauren. Freedom from technology really is a good thing now and again. When we were in our rustic cabin we could not get Wifi connection unless we wandered down the road. I felt no need to be hooked to my iphone. I did go for walks and was able to text our grown kidlets and that was important for my hubby and I. We had so much fun and I promise I will catch up with you this week. Love your beautiful poetry. Happy Tuesday. ♥

I appreciate your thoughts!
