Forever Love

Faint is how you make me feel and not
Only when our lips connect, but when I
Remember our first embrace and how my
Emotions twirled inside of me, dizzy and
Voiceless, I was and those moments still exist
Even though decades have come and gone
Reflections of those first days are rainbows
Learning the true meaning of bliss, an
Out of the ordinary feeling, knowing you are my
Valentine, lover and friend for the rest of our life together and for
Eternity~

Lauren, romantic poetry is your shining gift! When I saw the title I just knew it would be lovely… and so it is :-). If you were to collate a book of your romantic love poems, which are like gentle lace, I would have it downloaded to my kindle in a flash 🙂 x

    1. Angela, your complement made my day! Thank you so much; I’m always doubting myself~my sister compiled a book of all my poems with my gravatar photo on the cover and gave it to me last Christmas. It was truly a priceless gift! Thank you again and blessings for a beautiful day~ xo

    1. Awww…that’s not my intent, Sandra…I just write what I feel and wish the same for everyone~Hugs to you, my friend!

Honestly, I didn’t expect to write romance on this blog, but it took off on its own! 🙂

  2. Amazingly intense acrostic here of your ForeverLove life experiences, Lauren. You DO realize you are a MOST blessed woman to have such a husband and lifemate! So very happy for you!

    1. Thanks, Rose, for the acrostic complement. They are new to me, so I’m still practicing in that arena. As to realizing I’m blessed, yes, I do, but not in a boastful way. I’m beginning to hope my poems aren’t coming across in that way, either…I just write of love and I wish happiness in general for everyone~I hope that makes sense! 🙂

OH Lauren!! I LOVE this poem…it reminds me of myself and my Hubby after almost 42 years. I am so happy to have met you and see you also have “forever love”. Happy Friday. Hugz, Renee. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Renee, I’m soooo glad you could relate to this, too, and am very happy you have been touched by “forever love”, as well! Although, we’re not quite at 42 years, yet, 23 for us, but we’ll get there! Big Hugs! xo

I am sure you will get there!! It shows and in the world today we are truly blessed. Your poems are amazing!! 🙂

  4. This love is such a blessing and the beauty and eloquence of your expression makes my heart feel so deeply touched. I honor the love that you have and ability to share its beauty in your writings. It is more, it is the love and beauty of you that shines through. Love to you, Linda

      1. Nice to meet you Kevin. I write mostly of romance, but a lot of inspirational and some just of life itself, maybe with a few tears. I just write from the heart…Thank you again!

I appreciate your thoughts!
