Friday Photo Fun! :)
Copper (our lab) and I recently went on one of our “water tank” hikes. Though we’ve done this many times, I still take more pictures. How many photos can one have of the same location? Well, I guess many, if you try for new angles. It’s kind of like an addiction, but a healthy one. The hike is uphill from our house and we ended up with tall grass hugging us while walking on thin trails and all I could think about were ticks. Copper stays on flea and tick medication but once in awhile, they still manage to get on him.
Luckily, when we got home he was tick free and so was I! 🙂
I’m also including some flowers from our yard.
It’s coming back to life
now that Copper is getting a little older and less mischievous. 🙂

Our grapevine, almost ready for tasting
Yellow Chrysanthemums to liven up the living room
Abutilon – I hadn’t heard of this before,
but I love the colors,
also known as Indian mallow and Velvetleaf
We have no idea what this is, as it moved in
before we did. 🙂
Of course, here’s Copper, my walking partner
I hope you’ve enjoyed this collection
and I wish you a wonderful weekend ahead.Â
HAPPY FRIDAY!  ♥
When it Pours – Haiku

it’s falling in droves
and its rhythm, hypnotic
I hear grateful sighs

so when it finally rained, it was a blessing.)
Blooms Here and There
I’m not a professional photographer, so please go easy on me 🙂
and since our camera needs replacing, I’ve been using my iPhone.
Anyway, the rose is in our yard, but the other flowers I came across
while taking Copper, our lab, for his daily walks.
I don’t always take my phone, but when I do,
there’s always something
I’d love to remember in photo form.
I’m not even sure I can choose a favorite.
I love them all and this happens to show
more of pinks and purples,
but I also love the vivid reds, oranges and yellows.
Sounds like a future blog post? Maybe…
Anyway, what is your favorite?
I hope you enjoyed this little bit of flora
and feel free to take some beauty
with you to begin your weekend. ♥
