From green to red and
orange, their cue has arrived
wardrobe change again

I’m not a professional photographer, so please go easy on me ๐
and since our camera needs replacing, I’ve been using my iPhone.
Anyway, the rose is in our yard, but the other flowers I came across
while taking Copper, our lab, for his daily walks.
I don’t always take my phone, but when I do,
there’s always something
I’d love to rememberย in photo form.
I’m not even sure I can choose a favorite.
I love them all and this happens to show
more of pinks and purples,
but I also love the vivid reds, oranges and yellows.
Sounds like a future blog post? Maybe…
Anyway, what is your favorite?
I hope you enjoyed this little bit of flora
and feel free to take some beauty
with you to begin your weekend. โฅ
Our heat wave finally ended. It’s warm, but beautiful and bearable. So Copper and I ventured out into the sunshine, beginning with a short drive of about 15 minutes. Then we hiked uphill (about 25 minutes) to our first stop, where one of us had a treat. Can you guess who? ๐ We then hiked onward to our final lake destination. It’s about a 6 mile round trip hike. (Keep in mind, these photos were taken with my iPhone and the photo of Copper lying down came out a little blurry, but I thought it worth sharing, anyway.)
At the end of our adventure, I tried to get photos of us, but it was difficult synchronizing our smiles. What you see turned out a little funky and maybe, classic, with Copper’s cooperation! ๐
I hope you enjoyed “hiking” along with us
and I wish you a wonderful week ahead,
filled with smiles and kisses. โฅ

It was cloudy and misty
in the morning, but the sun joined us a littler later
and it was a fun, relaxing way to spend a Saturday.
“Nature entertains
abundantly each day
Lifeโs colors and compositions
Godโs gifts we praise”
(From my original poem, Beautiful Existence, 4/23/13)
I hope you enjoyed these photos
and I wish you all a wonderful weekend! โฅ
