A quiet interlude of two consenting minds
connecting in desired agreement
A gentle kiss becoming decadent
bodies embracing, passion flaring
the baring of equally loving souls
Each giving to fulfillment
breathless whispers
over the moon ending
descending into
anticipation
for the next
lovely
rendezvous

alarm, golden, intense
tickling with its rays, sending an
undercurrent to venture outside and
renew spirits with beauty surrounding,
diving into soothing ocean’s song,
abandoning heavy burdens in mind,
yesterday becoming today’s gift

I feel like a machine
(not a mom, a wife, or a human being)
one that’s shiny and not too old
I could be silver; I could be gold
One that stands 5’7” in height
and would be useful day or night
This is just what I am

Our little cabin in the woods
was made of rustic charm
It embraced us with its caring walls
and kept us very warm
In our cozy kitchen
Mom enticed us with her cooking
we’d always sneak a taste
when we knew she wasn’t looking
Night time walks could be spooky
even with a flashlight
to find furry, black masks huddled
was an unnerving sight
Time was passed in the snow
by flying down the hills
on a magic wooden sleigh
delighting in the thrills
Memories of our corner cabin
will forever stay in mind
but my heart is heavy knowing
now its windows are blind

Your day’s been long
I know you’re tired
Just relax, as I begin
to feed my desire
With feather touches
I trace your skin
and with my lips
I slowly skim
Your eyes begin to speak
as this game takes two
and your mouth begins to play
breaking every rule
You breathe me in
as your magic creates
an explosion of my soul
I gently embrace
Then with your silky voice
you dive deeper in my mind
and our final move
is exquisitely well timed

We never miss our county fair!
When the kids were little, the experience was magical,
viewing it through their eyes and excitement.
Now that they’re older, on their own, hubby and I get another date! 🙂
If you look closely, you’ll see that birds
enjoy the Ferris wheel, too. 🙂
This is the lagoon looking to the Pavilion,
where the music groups perform.

After spending some time in San Francisco,
we walked across the bridge. We’ve done this
a few times and each time,
our experience is just as amazing!
To the right is Angel Island.
It’s usually foggy in the bay,
but once in awhile, the sun will shine!
…and to conclude with some poetry, here is an old haiku…
Marvel by the bay
stretches through cold fog’s embrace
with proud arms of strength
