  1. Cool photos, Lauren. I’ve never visited the Bay Area but always wanted to. The Golden Gate Bridge is so iconic. I love the low-hanging clouds in these photos. Being a huge baseball fan, I think Oracle Park in SF is the best park in Major League Baseball (even though I’m not a Giants fan). Have you ever attended any pro sports events in SF?

Thanks for sharing, my friend. 😊

    1. Thanks, Mike! Maybe someday you’ll get the chance and I hope you do. I love the clouds too. We have never been to a game because, if we can, we like to avoid big crowds and parking stress. 🙂 Maybe we will for a one time experience, but then again, we have the best seat at home. Who knows! Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed these. 🥰

  2. I was a regular visitor to SFO while my girls were living in the Napa Valley. Such a unique city with lots of beautiful views and of course all those interesting places at the wharf. Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge or the Bay Bridge was always a great experience. I went back to SFO airport to return to Singapore the day before that top section of the Bay Bridge fell down with the loss of life that caused and was relieved it didn’t happen when I was travelling across.

    1. It sounds like you have great memories of this area, Ian, and the Bay Bridge collapsing in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake was a tragedy. Sadly, there is always some kind of tragedy anywhere in the world. Thanks for sharing your memories.

  3. My wife had an uncle who used to be part of a painting crew on the Golden Gate Bridge. He once said that they start on one end of the bridge and paint the other way. By the time they got to the end, it was time to start over.

    1. We have to appreciate all of those who have worked on the bridge from conception to current times during maintenance. It’s a marvel no matter how often we drive over it. What an experience for your wife’s uncle. You definitely can’t have a fear of heights!

  4. I haven’t been to the Painted Ladies, Lauren! I like the homes in your photo. Golden Gate Bridge is such an iconic bridge. Yes, I’ve been there many times and walked across the bridge also. All your photos are lovely.

    1. Hi Miriam, the Painted Ladies are beautiful, but we thought they needed a paint job. 🙂 The hues were a bit underwhelming, and I don’t know how often they paint them. But they’re still fun to see, and Alamo Park is beautiful too. I’m glad you’ve experienced the bridge. We’ve walked across several times also; what an experience. Thanks and I’m glad you enjoyed this collection. 💞

  5. Great pics, Lauren, thank you!

    That was fun.

Yes,I have seen the Golden Gate Bridge. In my 20’s and 30’s I was in San Francisco a few times. I love it there. You live in a wonderful spot on the planet.
