Lakefront

Your presence
captivates

with awe-inspiring
magnificence

You shimmer from
the brilliance of
sun’s kiss,
a magical vision

Your purpose
conveys nothing
less than
significance

The equation of
all surroundings
offers a perfect
composition

    1. Thanks, Francina! We definitely found serenity and enjoyed it while we were there (except for the thunder/lightning storm the second night). 🙂 Many hugs to you, my friend, from across the pond xo

  1. A magical poem from the magical vision…beautiful, Lauren! 😀 The poem and photo ooze with peace and calm. However, I’m tempted to have a quick dip! 😀

    1. Aww, thanks so much, Annika! This lake was truly stunning and peaceful. We went early last month, so it wasn’t crowded. However, it’s so big that there’s enough sand and water for all. 🙂 Oh, and we did go in for a dip and it was awesome! ☺❤

    1. I’m glad I had the chance to see this lake, too. My husband had talked about it for years, but we never made it there. Finally…and now I’m ready to return. 🙂 Thank you, Shian!

    1. Aww, it’s so great to see you, Renee, although I know you’re not blogging anymore. Yeah, didn’t I say I was done, too? Finished with writing also? Never say never, I guess. 🙂 Anyway, I miss you in blogland, but understand…Love you, too, my friend, and thanks so much for your beautiful comment. Big hugs 💜💚❤

Loved your Shadarma and delighted to find out more about this form of poetry. Must give it a try… xo

    1. Thanks, Ian! It is Loon Lake in northern Cal., Eldorado County, near Lake Tahoe. It was pristine and peaceful, especially last month so we didn’t have to fight the crowds. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Don! That’s really nice to hear. This was a long break for me, so in returning, I wasn’t sure who’d remember me. 🙂 I hope you’re doing better, and it’s nice to see you also!
