“New Day, New Dreams” (Christmas is coming!)

Hi Everyone!

I want you to know that I have a new “page” entitled “Published Works.”
This page has all the information for ordering my book
and links for Xlibris, Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

I also want to thank those of you who have already purchased a copy!
You Rock and I’m so humbled and grateful at the same time!
Some of us are excited
and some are not so excited,
but the truth is Christmas is just around the corner
and my book would make a great gift.
I know some friends who have bought many for gifts, already,
as they’re thinking ahead.

So, I invite you to visit my Published Works page…

I’m excited to say that several local bookstores
will be housing my book
and I’m currently working on setting up
poetry readings for the near future.
So, the excitement continues!

  1. Lauren you know I wish you every success in your new publishing world 🙂 If I were better equipped I would be first on the list to buy, but I don’t buy over the net.. I know, sadly I am one of those old fashioned ladies who should get with the times of purchasing products on line… But it detracts not from your wonderful talent, and my wishing you every success in it being a Top Seller that everyone wants for Christmas..
You deserve it to fly off the shelves
    Much Love
    Sue xoxox

    1. Aww..thanks, Sue, for all your kind words and I do appreciate your honesty, too! I understand how you feel about buying online and I wouldn’t want you to do anything you’re not comfortable with, either…Much love and many hugs to you, as well, and wishing you a great weekend! xoxo

    1. Thanks so much, Charlene, for your excitement and encouragement! You are awesome and I can feel the vibes through your words! Thanks also for buying a copy and I hope you truly enjoy! Love and hugs to you, my friend! xo

    1. Thanks so much, Marina, and the page tab is at the top of my blog “Published Works” but the links for ordering are all in this post, as well! Have a wonderful weekend and thank you! xx

Huge congratulations, Lauren, I’m so proud of you! Wishing you all the best – and I can’t wait until my copy gets here so I can hold it in my hands while I read your lovely poems! ~ Love and hugs, Julie xoxox

  3. I am so happy for you, Lauren, and can’t wait to receive a copy! Wishing you success with it … sales, wise … but mainly that your beautiful words that come out of such a warm heart and wise spirit reach out to many who will be transformed by them. XO ♥

    1. Thanks, Diane, for your beautiful words and wishes and I think that’s what we all hope for…you said it so well, that our words will touch and transform those who read them. This whole experience has been humbling, to say the least…Sending you hugs and love! xoxo ♥

I put your book on my Christmas list, so hopefully hubby will buy it for me. If not, I’ll buy it for myself after Christmas! Congratulations! This is big!

    1. Thanks so much, Sheila, for your support and I’m glad you liked the title, too! I wanted it to be an uplifting book to counteract with all the negative stuff going on in the world. 🙂 xo

  5. I will definitely buy it, Lauren. Saw it was on Amazon.fr and I have a Kindle. SO that’s perfect! 🙂
Just have to wait a little bit. But can’t wait to read it.
    Big hugs to you.
And again, thanks for your support on FB and on my blog. ❤ ❤ Means a lot!

    1. Aww…thanks very much, Cha! I appreciate you supporting me and I hope you do enjoy it when you begin to read it. Big hugs to you, too, and you’ll always have my support; I Love your work! 🙂 ♥

A little belated, but nevertheless CONGRATULATIONS, dear Lauren!!! I’m very excited for you and wish you many , many sales!! You can be very proud with this first giant step in the publishing world!! I can not wait to see your book landing on my doormat!
Lots of love and hugs from across the creek xoxox

    1. Hi Francina,
For some reason, you came through as “someone” but when I saw your “across the creek” I knew it was you! I’ll always love that phrase…anyway, thank you so much, my friend and I’m glad you’re feeling better, too! I’ve commented on fb, but haven’t emailed you yet…not a good friend! 😦 Anyway, I’ll email you this weekend! Okay, take care and lots of love and hugs back to you! xoxo

  7. I wish every success with your book Lauren, must be an exciting time for you!! 😀 It’s a great time of year to launch a book too. And good to see you have more than one place to sell them, lots of people I know on a writers website have made the mistake of only making their book available in one place, but you’ve obviously given this a lot of thought. Poetry books are an ideal gift and I really hope you sell lots of them! 😀

    1. Thanks so much, Suzy, for your good wishes! It has definitely been exciting and fun, at the same time! And also something nice for my Dad, but wishing I would have done this when Mom was still with us..:)

  8. I should be ready to do this next week as volume 1 of cartoons to be ready. Is the second page by the about page? I think I will eliminate blog roll and just keep po box and book in widgets-do you think that works? My royalty is $1.47 with amazon but $4.01 with amazon estore and naturally would want to steer to estore but that sale page just has my book only and not all the other stuff that comes on the amazon sale page. How do you think I can work this out? L, isn’t it great to now move to the level with your work that you can advise others ?!!!

    1. So excited for you, Carl! My new page, “Published Works” is the far right tab on the top of my blog. The tabs are in this order: A Little Bit about Me, Guestbook, Awards, Published Works…

I think eliminating the blog roll is fine and actually, I’ve thought of doing the same because I can’t keep up with it. There are many more blogs I haven’t added and if I did, it would be 100 miles long..If I do delete it, though,I may create a post, just so feelings aren’t hurt. That’s me, worrying about what others think.:)

Re: the sale pages..I get a larger % through the publisher, Xlibris, but I’m also selling on Amazon and Barnes and Noble AND the ebook sells for less. However, I didn’t advertise this information, as I’m simply happy if my book sells.

So, I would advertise all links where your published work can be purchased and don’t worry about what is offered or not. Just see where the ball bounces.

You flatter me, as I’m still learning, but it does feel good to not be such a novice now. 🙂 I hope what I’ve said helps you, too!

I appreciate your thoughts!
