Turning Pages

I was reminiscing of an old friend
from many years ago

Card design and yellow rose by my wonderful friend,
Angela at pathwayofpoetry.com.

Does this evoke memories of
someone special
from your past? ♥

  1. Sigh. It does. It reminds me of my friend who chose a guy over me. It still hurts but life isn’t fair and we have no control over actions other than ours !

    1. Some memories bring smiles and others bring sadness…and you’re right, Sanah, we have no control over others actions, so we can only move forward and hope any hurt existing will fade in time…thanks so much for stopping by and commenting..take care, Lauren

  2. Oh my goodness Lauren! This certainly does take me back; to a friendship since early childhood that bore a great rift for many years. We are now back in contact and trying to heal some wounds. This resonated deeply.

  3. This is just gorgeous, Lauren. Soooo beautiful! Though we have to say goodbye on one level, love never dies – you have captured this with such tenderness and grace. xox

      2. Awww, you’re most welcome. I suppose it’s fitting that it’s all about friendship – there are so many lovely people on here who share a love of poetry… and words… and everything in-between the lines. Much love. xoxo
