Two Tales – Haiku

I.

these blooms are lovely

in our new little garden

a doe hides nearby

 

II.

a tightrope master,

he scampers, enticingly

eyes watch from below

We have many deer that delight us with
their visits, so we need to buy deer resistant plants,
otherwise, we’ll be providing their meals!
Regarding the tightrope master,
Copper
actually “looks up and watches” for them!
He’s  a smart doggie!

    1. Thanks, Alex! Copper pretty much is the same way! I love the critters, but he’s still a puppy and it’s hard on the arms when walking! I hope he’ll grow out of it as he gets older! Elks and moose, wow, they would be a bit distracting for the dogs! 🙂
