I have been seriously battling depression all of last year – I have come out the other side through supportive friends and finding my passion in poetry again – but reading this has definitely reminded me of the feelings I had when I was in the strongest riptide of depression…
And was said above, I do love how the lines were broken. Well done!
I’m so sorry to hear of your past battling with depression. We have known many who have been through the same, especially teen friends of my kids…I’m so glad you’ve had a support system, though, to pull you out and please keep writing…that is a wonderful way of expressing your feelings and touching others lives, as well.
