Hello, and welcome to my Guestbook!

I hope you enjoy your stay
enough to return again someday.
Don’t click off without fetching
a nugget of comfort or delight –
or perhaps even a sliver of insight.
And just for you,
I made something sweet
to thank you for your visit.
Go ahead, grab a cookie,
it’ll only take a minute.
These gems were not
pulled from a box,
but mixed up by hand
with the best of ingredients
for creating something grand.
So, thank you again
for your precious time.
Your presence in my corner
has been absolutely sublime!

In Love & Friendship,
Lauren

    1. Hi J,

Thanks so much for your message and your timing is perfect, as I’ve considered the same thing. I haven’t had as much time, lately, for blogging and have been overwhelmed with being behind. The decision hasn’t been made, yet, but still contemplating. Anyway, I hope you’re doing okay and just needing a little break, which is understandable…I’ll send you an email, too, but thanks again, and I also appreciate your continued blogging support! Hugs and blessings to you, as well! πŸ™‚

  7. Greetings Lauren, it has been a very long time … thanks for dropping by my blog again and letting me rediscover yours! I am glad to see you have continued to share your gifts and talent with “us”. I have a lot of reading and catching up to do. Take care.

    1. You’re welcome and I am so far behind in visiting all those I follow. I don’t like it, but I think everyone is in the same boat, most of the time.. Unless we blog 24/7, which I’m unable to do! πŸ™‚ See you soon and thanks for dropping by, too!

Lauren, so glad you reminded us to visit your Guestbook … how did I not see this before? I love coming to visit and reading your lovely words … and virtual cookies are simply awesome, thanks – it tasted great with my morning tea, and no calories! LOL. Have a wonderful day, my friend. ~ Love and hugs, Julie xoxox

    1. With so many posts all over WP, it’s easy to miss a few, but thanks for stopping by, Julie! I’m glad you enjoyed the “no cal” cookies, too! Heehee! Love and hugs to you, my friend! xoxox

  9. Hey Lauren, I’ve enjoyed more than a year of this virtual but real friendship with you. We’ve seen each other’s ups, downs, and many expressions from our hearts about our lives. You’re a great writer and person in general my friend. In blogville, for me, everyone kind of feels like family so what would I be? A blogville brother, cousin, or uncle or something? πŸ˜€ Just had to say something silly with the serious stuff too.
Much love and hugs to you and your family. Continue blessed always

    1. Aww, Scott, thank you! It’s been great getting to know you, too, and I agree with how our blogville friends seem like family.
Your writing continues to fall off the charts! I valued your feedback from the beginning and still do. Thanks for the hugs, love and blessings and returning some to you…take good care of your daughter and your heart. xx

    1. Thanks, John, you just made my night, as I’m about to go off line. I really appreciate all your visits and “likes” too, and I love your writing, as well. Thanks again!

  10. Hi Lauren…I am going off the blogosphere for focusing on my editing work!! Meanwhile can you guest blog once or twice?? You can put up a post on your book and poems!!! I am inviting you to guest blog and if you can please accept that πŸ™‚ Thank You!!

    1. Hi Kruti, I’m so sorry I missed this comment. How that happens, I have no idea and now it’s been over a month. Will you forgive me? I’d be honored to guest blog if you still want me to, but you probably meant while you’re gone. I think I missed the boat! Sometimes, I just can’t keep up but if you still want me to guest blog, I’d love to and would be honored. Thank you and if it’s too late, no worries, I’m flattered you asked me and just sorry I missed this! πŸ™‚ Have a wonderful weekend!

  11. Lauren, everytime i visit your blog I smell those choclate chips cookies and could not understand from where.. 1. Lauren you see it is great, so many day and it is still great Sunday we are talking about… Apology for late reply but I spend very little here now a day but it always great to come and see you around. happy Sunday my friend xx

      2. No reply is late in my book, Doron. Blogging is like a game and most of the time, we’re losing. It’s so hard to catch up, but we all do our best. πŸ™‚ Wishing you a peaceful Sunday, my friend..xx

  12. I’ve enjoyed reading your poetry, particularly the one of the ‘carousel’. Any little girl would love riding that one. (I have a darling little 3 yr. old granddaughter, youngest of four grandchildren.).

    1. Thanks so much, Joyce! I appreciate your kind words. I write a mixture of poetry, spanning from encouragement, romance, passion, nature and children. I hope you continue to enjoy during your visits and my daughter was just a little older than your granddaughter when I wrote the Carousel Dream. They are precious! Take care, Lauren

  13. Thank you for supporting my blog Lauren. I have now stopped blogging on WordPress, hoping to discover new things πŸ™‚ Thank you for sharing you awesome poetry!!!

    1. You’re welcome, Kim and thanks for the update. I wish you all the best and I enjoyed getting to know you through your blog, as well. And thanks for your kind words! πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Don,
I’m humbled by your words. Thank you so much, and I’m truly glad you enjoy your visits here. I always love reading your thoughts and feedback on my poetry, as well! And although I’m late in reading yours, I feel the same way! Take care!

    1. Well, it looks like we’re both fans, and one can never have too many cookies! πŸ™‚ Thanks for visiting and for following, John. I hope you enjoy each time you return.

  14. Hi Lauren,
I just left a message in October but wanted to come back and let you know how much I enjoyed your work in 2017. I am not your first follower nor will I be your last but want to continue. All the best for 2018. Thanks for the cookie. (I confess I took two)

    1. Hi John,
First of all, thanks for popping over here again, and secondly, I really appreciate what you said. That makes my day, and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my posts so far. Thanks also for the new year wishes, and please…take as many cookies as you’d like. πŸ™‚
I’m enjoying your blog and writing, as well, although keeping up with the posts is always tough. I do my best, though, so please know that…
Hope the beginning of your 2018 has been positive and will continue to be, too. Thanks again!

      1. Thanks, John. Whew! That’s always been the tough part because I want to read them all. But it’s humanly impossible if you’re following a lot of people.

  15. Lauren, a delight to pop by and wish you a very happy seventh blogging birthday – congratulations and a great achievement!! It’s been lovely to meet you here, read your posts and chat…here’s to the next seven years! πŸ˜€β€οΈ

    1. Thanks so much, Annika! I’m glad you “signed” my Guestbook. It’s a fun addition to the blog. Yes, seven years with several breaks. But, it’s been a wonderful, learning experience, and I’ve enjoyed meeting so many great people – You, being one of them. I’ve enjoyed your writing and blog, too, so Cheers to more inspiration and great reading! Hugs ❀❀❀

  16. Happy New Year, Lauren and congrats on your seven years of blogging. I’ve enjoyed our friendship over the years and look forward to many more years of conversing via our blogs. Lots of love and hugs.

    1. Hi John! Thanks so much for checking in. All is good here. I joined a local writing group earlier in the year and have ventured into writing personal essays, stepping out of the poetry box. I’m slowly working on another book also that will have essays and a small group of poems. I’ve really enjoyed the group, so I’m not sure when or if I’ll return to blogging. But I miss everyone! Hope all is well with you too!

    1. Thanks so much, Erica, and I invite you to visit my β€œAbout Me” page too. I’m just returning after a long break and I’ll be over your way soon. Take care, Lauren

    1. Aww, that’s wonderful to know, Jane, and I feel the same about you. I appreciate your visit here, and I hope you grabbed a chocolate chip cookie on your way out. πŸ™‚ Hugs, dear friend! 🧑🌻🧑🌻

    1. Oh, Carol Anne, I am so touched by your kindness. I truly am. And I’m also happy to meet you. That’s the beautiful gift of this blogging community. Thanks so much for buying my books. Each has its own purpose and I hope you enjoy them all. I will watch for your reviews in the future. And I will also visit your blog soon and look forward to doing so. Thanks again! ❀️❀️

      1. Thanks, Colleen! πŸ™‚ By the way, did you create the Double Ennead form? I ask because I may want to include a few in my new book. And if you created the form, I’ll credit you. Just let me know. And feel free to stop by my modest corner in blogland anytime. It’s been great getting to know you. 😁 Hugs

      2. Lauren, I hope to stop by more often. I enjoy your poetry! Yes, I created the Double Ennead for CarrotRanch.com. It’s 99 syllable poetry to go along with the 99 Word story challenges. It has a great flow to the form. I’m thrilled you like the form. Thanks. You made my day! πŸ’–

      3. I hope you get the chance, and thanks for letting me know. I want to give credit where credit is due (as they say). I’ve never done the word challenges. I’ve only dabbled in fiction writing. And I’m happy to make your day! πŸ’“

      1. Many poems resonate. It’s more than poems, though. It’s the entirety of the collection.
I’ve taken a bit of a “box of chocolates” approach to reading the book.
This means I’ll be reading it twice. xoxo

      2. Resa, you don’t know how much your words mean to me. Ever So Gently is definitely different than MTC, and I know how I hope others will react, but I just won’t know unless they share a review or their thoughts. So, I’m rambling again (easy to type on laptop), but I’m just so happy with your approach. I hope each ‘piece’ is as delicious as the next, and that the entire ‘box’ was well worth a ‘second helping.’ Hugs xo
