  1. I just returned from your Bold Journey interview and found it compelling to say the least. Your journey has been blessed with the pure joy of family and friends and I hope you continue to be blessed Lauren. Have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks for taking the time to read my interview, Ernie, and for your kind words. For someone who doesn’t have an English degree hanging on the wall, I’m humbled to come this far on my journey. I appreciate your support very much. And have a great weekend too. 🙏

  2. Yayyy Lauren they published your interview ❤️
I loved it and thank you for the shoutout 🤗
Your poem today overflows with so much positivity and empowerment.
Thank you for your words my friend xoxox
Much love and big squishy hugs.
I loved the photographs that accompanied your interview too 💖💜💖💜

    1. Thanks so much, Maggie! You’re so welcome regarding the shoutout! I appreciate you thinking of me. 🙂 Lots of love and huge hugs to you! I’m glad you loved the pics also. You know how much your support means to me! ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️

  3. It’s always fun to learn the backstory about our blogging buddies. One common cause/effect relationship I saw in my students was: supportive, stable, and loving family = happy children. Children model what they see, so you and your husband have modeled that well.

  4. The interview with Bold Journey was very interesting and we get to know a lot about you. You certainly have been very productive. Congratulations on the interview and your poem is very inspirational.

  5. A beautiful interview, Lauren, and a wonderful, and inspiring acrostic. I love your photo of the campsite in the Sierras, and can’t blame you for getting hooked. Being in nature is a beautiful experience. 🌄⛺💚

    1. Thanks for reading, Eugi, and for your lovely words. I’m glad you understand about the joys of being in nature. That photo was my first backpacking trip eight years ago. I’m also glad you liked the poem. Hope you’re having a good weekend. 🍁❤️🏕️

  6. I love acrostic poems, and yours is perfect… so lovely, Lauren! 💕 I will see how I can find to read your interview, as I clicked on the link several times and it only took me to an error window, saying 504 Gateway… and so, will try to look for the site separately, and will get back to you too ☺

    1. Thanks for your lovely words about the acrostic, Nicole. Maybe the link doesn’t work if you’re out of the U.S. But I appreciate you trying and hope you enjoy if you’re able to read the interview. Happy Monday! 💖

      1. Happy I could access Bold Journey from Facebook… many congratulations, Lauren! A splendid flow, I enjoyed the interview very much! ☺💕 My next stop, most probably a cute November into December read for me… Cora’s Quest! I can’t wait! 😊

      2. Oh, thanks very much for taking the time to find it and read it, Nicole! You rock! 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoyed it too. Aww, you made my day. I hope you love reading about Cora and I look forward to your thoughts. 🥰

  7. That is a fab interview Lauren!

I have to comment here, because there was none there. That is okay. It’s a magazine. Still, I want you to know that I liked it a lot!

    xxxxxx

    1. Thanks so much, Resa! I’m glad you enjoyed the interview. I don’t have an English degree hanging on the wall or credentials like you do, but I’m grateful for how far I’ve come. Like I said in the interview, this community is a classroom in its own right. And there’s always more to learn. I appreciate your continuing support and friendship. It means a lot. Okay, now I’m done ‘talking.’ 🥰❤️🌷

      1. Ahh, yak away! I love it Lauren.
A teen runaway from a broken home, I traded a family and children for a career. So, I have never known the kind of family love and closeness that you have. We are each credentialed in our own right.

I do have my hubs, who I love more than anything, and he is not well at the moment. So, I am on care giver duty!

If you never told me you don’t have a degree, I’d have never questioned, or known.

What I know is I adore your poetry, and have since I first read it.

        LOL… now I’m done talking!
        xoxo🌟🌹💖

      2. Ahh, Resa, too bad we can’t meet for coffee, lunch, or dinner! I’m sorry you were a teen runaway from a broken home. We may never become grandparents and that’s fine. Time will tell, but our kids’ choices are beginning to surface. So not having children is okay. It’s what you chose and your career was amazing. I love your gowns and creativity in your posts and book reviews. And I love your kindness and heart! I’m glad you found a great hubby but sorry to hear he’s not doing well. I hope things improve soon. Thanks for sharing more about you, and for your perpetual vote of confidence and support. I think I’ve just been awarded that degree. 😊

Sending many hugs and love heading north ❤️😘🤗🌻❤️ xoxo
