Glue

I see your broken pieces
I almost step on their sharpness
I want to be their healing glue

I know you’re weary
I understand every part of you
I want to be your shoulder

I know your heart aches
trying to make sense of it all
but I won’t let you fall
Let me be your remedy

  1. Solid words and strong resolve there, Lauren.

At various times we need the glue of love and healing, and are the glue of love and healing.

Peace, luv, and hugz my friend,
    Eric

    1. Thanks, Eric, and you’re right about needing the glue and being the glue at different times. Hope you’re weekend has been relaxing. Love and hugs to you, too, my friend. 🍂🍁😊

  2. Lauren, this is a powerful yet warm, and comforting poem. I agree with Debby. We all can use some of this glue from time to time, and that’s okay – that’s what friends are for. Love and hugs, my dear friend. ❤️🤗❤️
