** An acrostic is a piece of writing in which a particular set of letters—typically the first letter of each line, word, or paragraph—spells out a word or phrase with special significance to the text. Acrostics are most commonly written as a form of poetry, but they can also be found in prose or used as word puzzles. While the most common type of acrostic is one formed by the initial letters of each line, there are many different types of acrostics with letters in different positions.

We’re heading for the trail this morning for a hike (my first since dealing with health changes in the last year).
So, if you can, get outdoors to inhale the fragrance of nature and enjoy!

Have a lovely Saturday and weekend!

(I decided to pull some Tranquility
from the archives. Hope you enjoy,
and I wish you all a peaceful Friday
and weekend.)

Friday Photo Fun! :)

Copper (our lab) and I recently went on one of our “water tank” hikes. Though we’ve done this many times, I still take more pictures. How many photos can one have of the same location? Well, I guess many, if you try for new angles. It’s kind of like an addiction, but a healthy one. The hike is uphill from our house and we ended up with tall grass hugging us while walking on thin trails and all I could think about were ticks. Copper stays on flea and tick medication but once in awhile, they still manage to get on him.
Luckily, when we got home he was tick free and so was I! 🙂

I’m also including some flowers from our yard.
It’s coming back to life
now that Copper is getting a little older and less mischievous. 🙂
