You Calm Me

When a tornado storms
through my work day and
my desk is the aftermath
When my brain is frazzled and
I’m ready for a bubble bath
I may hesitate when the phone rings
because there’s so much to do
but when I hear your voice
I know I’ll pull through

    1. Ahh, I’m sorry to hear you’ve had some tough days, Wendell. Our life has just turned upside down, as well, which is the reason for my late reply. But thanks so much, my friend, for your wonderful comment and it’s so good to see you. Let’s keep both of us in our prayers, okay? Hugs and blessings to you, too!

  2. That’s a lovely thought Lauren! I think we all feel this way some of the time or most of the time. It is comforting to hear the voice of those who mean so much. Thank goodness someone invented the telephone – where would we be without it?!! 🙂
