Recently, my daughter and I spent some time together, and I’ll always
cherish our mom/daughter moments. On this day, the weather
cooperated as the sun warmed us with its rays, instead of raindrops
raining on our parade. We walked around, browsing in stores, while
talking and acting a little silly, too…
After all, what’s life without smiles and laughter?
happiness
The Mallard’s house (so cute) and pretty Koi fish
turtles, too
silly faces – of course, anytime a photo booth is near, we jump in!
You know the quality isn’t good when you’re only paying a $1, but
the fun and faces are worth so much more!

Love those times with our girls. Nothing beats it.
I agree. Thanks for popping over. 🙂

Thanks so much, Shian! Days like this one are treasured. 🙂 💗
So glad you had such a fun day! Silliness is a necessity, at times. 🤣 And your daughter is indeed beautiful – takes after her mom. 🙂 😍💕
Thanks so much, Betty. It was a great day, and you’re right about silliness being a necessity, at times. Thanks also for your beautiful compliment to my daughter and me. That’s nice to read first thing on this Monday morning. 🙂 Sending hugs, my friend. It’s almost spring, too. ❤🌼🌻🌷
Yes, the Equinox is just hours away! 😄😎😁 “And now we are so happy, we do the dance of joy!” (Balki Bartokomus) (Remember that old sitcom, Perfect Strangers? 😉🤣)
I do remember that show, Betty! 🙂 It’s raining today though for the week, so back to winter. But we need the rain, so it’s all good. 😊🥀🌼🦋
Okay, Lauren,
Now I know where you got your mischief and humour from – or is it the other way around. LOL. Good one, and happy for you both. And Betty is right – two beautiful women.
Have a great week ahead, dear friend,
Eric
Well, I think she got it from me, Eric. 🙂 So glad you enjoyed this post. We had a great day and time well spent that was greatly needed. And thanks also for your lovely compliment. You have us both blushing. 🙂
Wishing you a great week ahead, too. I’ll be a little older in five days. :O
Hugs!
The blissfulness of mother-daughter togetherness spills on to the reader. Please do convey my well wishes to your daughter while keeping some of it yourself…😋
You always have a wonderful way with words, Raja, and I will convey your wishes to my daughter, as well as, keeping some for me. 🙂 Have a great Monday, my friend…
A beautiful and happy post Lauren, enjoyed all your pictures, happiness abounds in all of them.
Thanks so much, Ian, and I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. This day was definitely a happy one, and I look forward to many more. She may be moving out of the area later in the year, so I’ll take as many as I can. 🙂 Happy Monday, my friend…
That’s nice to be able to spend some time with your daughter like that.
Thanks, Binky. It sure is nice to spend time with either her or my son, too. 🙂
Lauren, what a wonderful special time with your daughter and I’m so happy for you both! This post has me smiling, especially the photos… you still have photo booths?! Great set of silly faces and you both look so alike, radiating joy! Days to treasure! 😀❤️
I’m glad we got you smiling, Annika. This was one of our many mom/daughter days together, and I’m thankful to have a great relationship with her and my son. My husband has the same with them both. In some places, we’ll find a photo booth and they’re super fun! Yes, I guess she does resemble me. 🙂 Definitely days to treasure! 💕🌷🌹
Beautiful post, Lauren! And I so agree on happiness being time spent together! My mom and I also love doing silly faces photographs!! 😄 And your daughter looks just as beautiful as her mom. 😊💕
Thanks so much, Sarah, and that’s awesome to hear you and your mom do silly face photos, too! Gotta love those silly times in between the tough moments. And thanks for your lovely compliment to both of us. You brightened my day, in spite of the rain. 😊💗🌹
You’re very welcome, dear Lauren! And yes gotta love and treasure those moments of silliness in between the tough times – they’re sometimes all that seems to stand in the way of loosing one’s head! 😂 Have a beautiful day – even if it rains! 😊💞
My day was good, Sarah; hope yours was, too! Someday spring will arrive though. 🙂 💗
You are so fortunate to have your children on the same continent. What a lovely experience when we can get together one to one with our children no matter what age.
I know I am and don’t take it for granted. They’ve both done some traveling in and out of the country, which is hard enough. 🙂 For now, they’re close in geography and I’m grateful. Thanks, Ian. 🙂
Wise actions. Wise words. Family togetherness, highly valuable. Happy for you both.
Thanks very much, Ben.
🙂
Lauren, what a fun post! Your daughter is beautiful, just like you. I loved the silly-face photos. Those memories will last a lifetime. Enjoy your time with your children. We never know where life will take them next. You have a beautiful family. Happy Easter! Love and hugs! ❤️❤️❤️
Aha. It rarely happens in the millenial era. Excellent relationship. A precious moment. Parents always want to convey good things to their daughters and boys, including being silly together. Regards. 🙂
Thanks, Hilal. Having a good relationship with our children is priceless and I’m grateful. 🙂 And yes, being silly is the best! 🙂 Have a good weekend!
