Your words always make me smile Lauren! Hugs and blessings!
Thanks, Wendell, and it’s always great to read your wonderful comments. Hugs and blessings to you, too!
Bright, colorful Shadorma’s to make us smile, Lauren, on this Sunday evening. Thank you! π
Thanks a bunch, Betty! Date night provided inspiration for this fun contribution. ππ
The view… awesome!!
Thanks, Maureen! It was a beautiful night in the city. Love and hugs! π
Love and hugs right back at you. Glad you enjoyed it. π
Super poem and a great shot of SF.
Thanks for your kind words, John, and I actually found the awesome shot on google, but that’s not to say we don’t have SF photos. We have a million of the bridge, but we were so engrossed by the gorgeous weather on the bay that we chose to enjoy the view instead. π
It’s even better when you have some treats.
That’s true, Binky. Well, we didn’t have chocolate, but the treats we did enjoy were a delicious Italian dinner with some good wine. π
I like that thought of three levels of smiling! I hope you’ve been doing that a lot lately.
Thanks, Sheila! Yes, we do as much smiling and laughing as possible. π Hope you do the same!
Smiling ~ Going higher and higher π
Keep smiling, Christy, and thanks for always bringing a smile here when you visit. Hugs!
Japan and Hong Kong stand out in my mind for flashing brilliance at night. I presume the Google image is New York and inspiration would be theatre there?
I haven’t been to Japan or Hong Kong, so I’ll have to take your word for it, Ian. π The image is actually San Francisco, and yes, theater there…
I’ve flown into SFO so many times on my way to Washington DC as my girls were in school at Napa Valley. In spite of that I didn’t recognize that scene. That shows I’m getting old and my memory fading. lol.
How funny, Ian. Yes, that’s the Golden Gate Bridge, and regardless of how many times we’ve walked or driven across, it never loses its fascination. So, you know the wine country? And memory has a way of doing that even though we’re not getting older. π
Well I’m 80 and that qualifies for old, really old. rotfl
Well, at any rate, age is but a number. π
Wonderful energy here, Lauren…is it based on a visit to a show? If so, what did you see? I like the three levels…upper circle is not good if you suffer from vertigo!
Thanks, Annika. It was a fun date night in San Francisco seeing Alec Baldwin at the Curran Theater. We were in the second level up, but still had great seats. Luckily, neither of us suffer from vertigo. π π
This lovely poem speaks so well of the growing excitement of seeing something you’ve been looking forward to seeing. I love the three levels of smiles. Nice images.
Thanks so much, Michelle! I’m pulling inspiration from anywhere to continue in the Shadorma challenge. Not to mention, it was a fun night out for us. π Sending lots of love! π
” laughter is
the best medicine”
Especially when there is so much needing to be healed.
I agree completely, Ben, and this night truly invited laughter in with a warm welcome. π
I spent many lovely hours at the Curran Theater. Sounds like a fabulous date night! β€
What a view! Love the mezzanine magic and totally agree – laughter is the best medicine! Love and hugs, Lauren! πππ
The city is beautiful at nights all lit up, and the laughter was welcomed, Sarah. π Sending you lots of love for a wonderful weekend! β€β€
