When your sky is dismal and you’re feeling low
unlock the doors to your soul
and allow love to flow
Lean on a shoulder from someone who cares
as they hold you in their daily prayers
Open your mind to new hope in your heart
picking up pieces that once fell apart
Find strength in His Love and
allow your eyes to see the Light above
Let His embrace warm your inner core
Let your path be brightened
so darkness lingers no more

A most profound and uplifting meditation you share with us here, dear Lauren. Leaning on others’ shoulders really facilitates the ease with which we can open our hearts to new hope and be warmed by His embrace and perceive the great Light that is already shining on the paths of our lives’ journeys! I am most blessed as I leave this post, Sister Lauren!
