Thanks, Soma, yes, I did; it was good to see him and we’ll see him again soon…This haiku isn’t anything great, but I thought he’d enjoy it, which he did. The bunny photo is from his facility; they were all over and super cute! Hugs! 🙂
He does, Betty, and I can’t believe at 92, he’s reading my blog! But, I love it and this haiku is nothing fancy, but spoke of our visit and there are many bunnies around his courtyard, hence, the photo. They’re so cute…thank you! 🙂
Beautiful haiku Lauren, and the message for your Dad is lovely. You are blessed to have him and enjoy happy times together, God bless you and your family!
Thanks so much, Cynthia and blessings to you and your family, too! We need to hold onto our loved ones and enjoy the time together…it’s more surreal now with Mom gone, but we make the best of it! Hugs! xo
We need more haiku in our lives. A bunny is my alter-ego. His name is Oswald, and I write about him on my blog. Oswald and I love your poetry. Virginia
I have written many haiku, Virginia, if you have time to peruse my haiku category. I only started writing them 7 months ago, but I’ve enjoyed them and I think others have, too. The bunny is where my Dad lives; there are many and they are really cute! Thank you so much and I’ll visit you soon, too! Lauren
