food galore – you ate the bunnies ?
I should have known, Carl! You made me smile and the answer is no! 🙂
What a lovely haiku Lauren. I am so happy you had a wonderful time visiting your Dad! 🙂
Thanks so much, Gabby, and I hope your weekend was wonderful, too! 🙂 xx
Aww this is cute and lovely.
you did have a great time with your dad..I hope you get to meet him often..
Thanks, Soma, yes, I did; it was good to see him and we’ll see him again soon…This haiku isn’t anything great, but I thought he’d enjoy it, which he did. The bunny photo is from his facility; they were all over and super cute! Hugs! 🙂
Very lovely and touching!
Thanks so much, Caddo! xx

Thanks, Francina! I thought Dad would enjoy it, though it’s nothing spectacular! xo

Thanks, Subhan, I just visited you and commented, but thanks so much for thinking of me and congratulations on all of your awards, too! 🙂
Beautiful words once again. YOU are magical with your words. So blessed. Have a wonderful day. Renee 🙂
Oh, Renee, you are way too kind, my dear, but thank you! I hope you’ve had a great day, too! 🙂
YOU are most welcome. I did have a good day, busy doing errands. 🙂
Lovely words for your dad, Lauren. I hope all of you had a nice visit together.
Thanks, Deb, and yes, we all had a great visit and it was hard saying good-bye! Hugs to you, too! xx
Wonderful way to say thank you to Dad for the holiday visit! That dear little bunny seems very pleased!
Thanks, Rose, and the bunny was from the grounds at his facility. They’re all over and very cute! I knew he’d like this! xx
I bet your dad loves your poetry! This haiku to him is a treat to read. 🙂
He does, Betty, and I can’t believe at 92, he’s reading my blog! But, I love it and this haiku is nothing fancy, but spoke of our visit and there are many bunnies around his courtyard, hence, the photo. They’re so cute…thank you! 🙂
Beautiful haiku Lauren, and the message for your Dad is lovely. You are blessed to have him and enjoy happy times together, God bless you and your family!
Thanks so much, Cynthia and blessings to you and your family, too! We need to hold onto our loved ones and enjoy the time together…it’s more surreal now with Mom gone, but we make the best of it! Hugs! xo
We need more haiku in our lives. A bunny is my alter-ego. His name is Oswald, and I write about him on my blog. Oswald and I love your poetry. Virginia
I have written many haiku, Virginia, if you have time to peruse my haiku category. I only started writing them 7 months ago, but I’ve enjoyed them and I think others have, too. The bunny is where my Dad lives; there are many and they are really cute! Thank you so much and I’ll visit you soon, too! Lauren
very very nice 🙂
